As we all know,RR does insane damage at insane ranges. While the CR has insane DPS/ROF that is easily abused even at longer ranges.
But these aren't the main reasons they are overwhelmingly OP,they contribute a great deal to th OPness though. The main reasons...? The maps, aim assist. The battlefields themselves are partially to blame. ALL maps have wide open expanses, wide hallways, wide windows, null cannon hack points being able to be shot at from every angle...etc. Aim assist effect is multiplied at longer ranges, simply backpeddal without touching the aim knob. These things greatly contribute to the broken nature of the weapons. Several key features to let you know a long range weapon can be abused on a certain map: -ADS and HAVs can move through easily -snipers can see a null cannon hack point -long expanses of open ground,or ground with little cover -long wide open pathways with very little cover -long wide open hallways with no cover As you can see...these features are prominent in ALL of the games current maps.
I know vets will scream "awareness" until they are blue in the face...but in a game where 2-4 torso shots can kill you, cover is much more important. As Dust514 currently stands any and all long range weapon(s) has the advantage.
Only users lose drugs.

There should be areas of the map that promote the use of long range weapons. There should be areas of the map that promote the use of short range weapons. There should be areas of the map where different vehicle types are important.
There should not be weapons that are flat out better than others of their type. |

Guys. Its quite simple. They provide too much performance output for how much skill input they require from the player. This is the case with all FotM things. Either make them harder to use, or nerf their performance. Either one will balance the item.
