There was a story posted here ages ago I'm going to have to find, it was a short story about the guy that was used to create the ai, he was severely depressed after flying rdv's for so long, his wife left him, all he had left was the drink. A lot of them crash and explode horribly, though many are still flying to this day. |

I've had some weird ones....
Called in a LAV... nothing.... waiting.... waiting.... look up and see nothing.... some reds start moving in and I forget about it... Then BOOM! The RDV nosedives into the ground right in front of me like a dart at full speed and instantly explodes....
LAV survived barely, somehow.
I'm pretty sure some of the pilots are trolls as well, not dropping the vehicle until some poor blue wanders underneath them. |
