i am petitioning for a nerf to the laser. it's focus is a bit OP.
i would also like to give a cry out to the community, if a kind samritan could step forward to restore my supply of MLT railtanks.

Lasers should have no optimals. They're doing fine with .12 damage per second with their 15% efficiency.
Wouldn't want them to be OP or anything.

I agree, I think that it's a bit unfair that the a standard weapon can destroy a fully fitted shield suit in a quarter of a second. No weapon should be able to do that. Lowering damage out put or decreasing effective range could bring it into line with the rest of the other light weapons. Or perhaps increasing heat build up. Just a few ideas. something needs to be done about this weapon though, it is too high reward for so little risk. Who thought making a weapon akin to an automatic sniper Rifle effective all the way to 90 meters was a good idea anyways?

They are UP. Clearly the Amarrian in charge of fitting the crystals forgot to give out the daily vitoc allowances and had to put the crystals in himself ending up with with shoddy multifrequency crystals instead of the glorious purple scorch crystals that were supposed to be fitted.

This is why they are doubly screwed up. The minmatar lost due to lapse of vitoc figured out how to carefully duct tape pulse crystals into a beam weapon. Such tragedy. If your going to keep slaves at least keep them alive.

Are you insinuating Minmatar slaves are mistreated by the predominant portion of Holders within the Empire? You would be wrong you know.

The only problem that the LR has is that the optimal is a bit too narrow and maybe the fall off is a bit too low.
