You must really like talking. Perhaps you think people care what you think? It's a game. We fought. If it was in any way entertaining or intense I find at least one person who put in work and try to show respect. If that bothers anyone, oh well. I guess that's more your problem than mine. |

If the game comes down to 1v6, what exactly was so good about it? If you think the game was good, either you're disrespecting the solo individual or you're disrespecting yourself for being that bad and calling it good.
It's nothing more than silent gloating over a ridiculous proposition.
GG o7. There's nothing disrespectful about it. Just get off your high horses guys. I see this so much in games it makes me sick. "I'm too elite for you brah!" Nobody really gives a s hit if you find it disrespectful. You sound like old ladies getting offended because someone said "Damn" on TV. |

So some idiot in a video game sent you a "GG" message which may or may not be a genuine thanks for a hard fought battle in a venue where one-sided crapfests are all too common. (those are the ones I generally get, and yes, it is usually when we lose)
If that negatively affects your day in any way (for more than a few minutes - everyone is entitled to a little game rage, lol), you may want to re-evaluate your life. Or, more precisely, the lack thereof.

So, now you're telling me to get off of my nonexistent high horse when I'm simply telling you why I find it disrespectful from a competitive standpoint. That action is also disrespectful. So I believe we can conclude you are indeed a disrespectful individual, and OP was entirely correct.
Maybe I need to repeat myself. Nobody gives a s hit if you think it's disrespectful. I'll add I personally don't give a s hit if you find me disrespectful, mostly because you're not a real person. You're part of a game. |

Special Consideration I agree, when im solo and people beat my blues they send GG, and its like...uhh??? I DONT HAVE A SQUAD, you think its a good game because you were squadded vs randoms? Okay i guess its a GG everytime I stomp with nyains and its 50 to 0, so i should start sending out GGs afterwards. Oh and btw, normally GG is good game and gg is get good, though most peeps dont know that difference.
I can see where you are coming from. I just contest that GG is meant to be one of the more respectful things you can do. Maybe people are just applauding you for giving it a go even solo. This game is so full of scrubs that when I see someone doing well I try to acknowledge it. If you guys find it disrespectful that's really more your problem than the senders. I say "high horse" because people seem to be most offended by receiving them after a loss. Everyone loses guys. It's not a big deal. I would imagine there are far more annoying things in this game. Like nodded controllers. |

This text is just magically generating itself. I see we have gone from disrespectful to downright delusional. Some serious identification issues going on here. It's good to separate game from reality, but you should always realize there are real people behind the connection. If you can't make that leap of understanding, I would recommend you get yourself a good doctor bro.
Delusional would be thinking players who send me a Good Game message are gloating in some way. I'm pretty sure that's borderline narcissistic. In the words of Buzz Lightyear "You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity. Farewell."

I'd also like to make an observation... your post here is obviously an unconscious apology to the dust community for having played badly and losing to a "semi organized squad" in a game mode that "means nothing" to you. I imagine you're a #8 with #10's and a #9.
#11!!!
I might have to save this for use later. Well said sir o7 |

Special Consideration People don't understand that.. If you beat a good player sending a GG is the same as boasting, hey I just spanked you. Yet if they were to lose I guarantee there wouldn't be a GG mail afterwards. Meh that's just you. I'm bloody lucky to find a balanced or challenging match in FW...... GG is a sign of mutual respect that you put up a good fight win or lose There is no mutual respect, though. It has to go both ways. The point is the GG'r hasn't actually earned any yet. He has done NOTHING to be deemed worthy of respect. Nothing. If I go into a match solo and have to hold off an organized team essentially by myself, why the hell would I consider it a good game? I wouldn't. Would I gain respect for my opponents from that experience alone? No. Hell no. I'm doing more than any of them. Why would I give any respect for inferior play? Now, if the fight was even and not entirely lopsided it might be a different story. Real GG's are not unwelcome. But those are incredibly rare. Most of you guys just send them after winning a majorly lopsided match, and that's not respectful. It's being tacky.
Hahahaha what a tool. Do honestly not see how much of an as s you sound like? Basically you run around soloing matches for whatever reason. If you win I'm sure you feel some sort of godlike satisfaction in yourself but if you lose you simply get to blame it on the fact that the other team has a full squad? Make some friends and maybe one day you too can squad up. I don't even know why I'm posting in here anymore. |
