Alex'ander Mer'ci was born a Minmatar slave but was adopted at the age of 2 by Amarrian nobles who were secretly against slavery but did not wish to lose their noble status. Raised as an Amarrian he knew very little about his own people or heritage. His amarrian parents had him along with his adopted brother Oga Mer'ci enroll in the top Amarrian navl academy by pulling string with their titles. After his training he has sent to the frontlines, something not even his parents could save him from. While his brother Oga was posted close to the Amarr homeworld. Useing the skills he learned from the academy Alex'ander quickly made a name for himself on the battlefield. Eventually he gained the trust of the other amarrian soldiers. During a joint Amarr Calbari mission his platoon was ambushed by clone mercenaries. Fighting for his life Alex'ander would be the only survivor. Unfortunately the Amarr ship in orbit refused to send evac, not wanting to risk Amarr life for that of a lowly Minmatar.

Nice I like it.
But you also have to remember that even in Amarrian Navies and Armed forces Minmatar and other enslaved races can earn great respect and standing amongst their Amarrian allies. Many Brutor do it as well as they are now the 5th most populous free race in the Amarrian Empire.

Its not about going back of not Jaques. Its about one give of themselves for a greater cause. Every Amarrian soldier longs to be a martyr, remembered with the upmost respect, making the ultimate sacrifice and affirmation of Faith.
