I'm interested to know what you guys think ccp should put in dust
For me 2 things stand out
1. Speed of movement (dust has always felt so damn slow)
2. Movement is so so so fluid (dust has always felt clunky)

Thats why they need deployable turrets.
Have them cost 200-300k isk or something like that.
Drop down a medium missile instalation which has one missile per shot but with high damage. Sure, you would waste the ISK but would be so rewarding to have it not cost you a death and to fend off tankers.
That or have guided missile installations that would require another player to paint a vehicle with equipment to hit. That would mean it would take two players to work together but with a good reward for doing so. The painter could be a scout only equip so it wouldnt be abused by logis.

I think that was a reference to our current tank 'balance' Aztec. I would be more interested in Titan Fall if it was third person so I could see all that cool running on walls stuff or if the developers hadn't just given us PS4 players the finger.

It isn't a smart idea to have infantry have no way to deal with a vehicle , it'll be worse than tanks since you can damage tanks. |

Agreed on your points above. I'm convinced, tho many seem to disagree with me, that the clunky feel of DUST is the primary factor that's driving away peeps who've only spent a few hours with DUST.
Been thinking about speed/movement lately re DUST and there's one mechanic i think we need to change: the character 'slowdown' when we're taking incoming fire. It also affects rotation rate.
The slowdown mechanic is cheesy and unrealistic. But far worse than mere cheesiness, it cripples an entire class, i.e. scouts, and it impedes the flow of gameplay and makes the game feel significantly less kinetic for all classes. For me, the preferred mechanic would be that incoming fire reduces your accuracy/increases dispersion.
It's one small change that bring a better 'feel' to DUST.

The speed of movement was the one thing that was off putting about that beautiful looking game.
Maybe I'd just have to get used to it, but I feel I'd need ADHD to have my eyes constantly twitching around the screen following the action.
