It was an average day, the birds were chirping, the wind was passing and some guy was crying that he couldn't feel his disembodied legs. I just picked an uplink to spawn on, and that's when the Fire Nation attacked.
I spawned in what I thought was the air, but it wasn't the air because everything below me was an Orange pink. I kept going farther and farther. I activated my inertia dampener to no avail. I was not alone, in front of me was a heavy and in front of him there was a more obscure figure. The sky, or should I say ground , turned more and more vibrant. Then, when I didn't think it could get any more Orange/pink, things went dark.
My inertia dampener failed, but I kept falling. It was dark but there was blue "lightning" going across the screen. Then, when I believed nothing could get any worse, everything went clean black.
Moments later the match ended.
[I suffered a glitch where I fell through the floor  ]

Same happened to me today. A scout suit was lost due to suicide while endlessly falling. |

Happens to me a lot on any uplink that is deployed on a steep incline; spawn, fall, fall, fall......
.....faaaaaaall......
....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm bored now. Suicide.
I run cheap fits so it's only a minor inconvenience, but my proto commando (lol that always sounds so absurd when I say it) is, what, 400k? Yeah. Losing one of them to the Abyss would be rage-tastic.

You're gonna have to maths that out for me, cos that's immense.
My particle Gunny barely costs that much (okay, so it's actually 480k. But anyway).
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

Err, I just ran the numbers myself and I maaaaay have been exaggerating somewhat. My bad. I rarely run it, more of a prestige thing for going 5 in commando.
Closer to 250k. I'd still rage.

Okay, that's more reasonable. A full-fit logi costs that much; I know what it's like to lose one of those to a bug -_-

I believe the same (or something similar) happens when you pull up your NeoCom/map in a vehicle in a small/med socket. I've lost 2 tanks and an ADS from that so far...
ADS Kills: Lost count a while ago...
