I won't lie, I agree'd with your goals and initiatives but not your way of going about things. You're too passive for my tastes; wars aren't won babbling over silly rules of engagement about who is a pirate, who isn't and who's recently donated to charity. But Intaki Prime certainly isn't in any good situation, what with it being caught in the center of the Gallente-Caldari war zone. Neither side takes the interests of the Intaki first (and I'd imagine some of the Amarr propaganda spreaders are going to pretend like they do).
I've killed my fair share of both the State Peacekeepers and the Federal Marines. Sad as I am to say, their blood is still the same color. One thing I am curious about is who's side you, the ILF, take on that..? Is there some collaboration to further work with the Caldari, given the propensity of the Ishukone Corporation's assistance with our people or is there still some vague hope that the Federation will give a damn about us beyond mere words?
We Intaki are no more than ghosts drifting from planet to planet, system to system... We have no where to call home that is, in any sense of the word, stable. Be honest with yourselves before you're honest with me. Who do you fight for and why..? But, most of all, does it really matter..?

I am glad you have concern over our homeplanet, and I am glad to answer any questions you have of my corporation.

Neither side takes the interests of the Intaki first (and I'd imagine some of the Amarr propaganda spreaders are going to pretend like they do). Last I checked the Intaki Liberation Front was not at war with anyone, and our secessionist goals should not be regarded as an act of war. We do actively engage pirates both capsuleer and baseliner to keep Intaki and its colonies safer, and have an aid program to bring necessary supplies onto the colonies and our homeplanet. We seek to secede from the Federation through peaceful means, because a violent secession, aka. a war, is something we do not have the ability nor desire to do. When Caldari seceded from the Federation through violent acts, it resulted in a bloody war lasting centuries.

Is there some collaboration to further work with the Caldari, given the propensity of the Ishukone Corporation's assistance with our people or is there still some vague hope that the Federation will give a damn about us beyond mere words? Our recruitment thread explains our stance on the Empyrean War, also often called as Factional Warfare:
Quote: CONCORDGÇÖs Emergency Militia War Powers Act only allows groups to participate in the Empyrean War if they formally declare themselves in support of one of the four empires. Since the Intaki Liberation Front is not aligned with any empire, itGÇÖs not possible for us to participate as a GÇ£militiaGÇ¥. We make no special distinction between groups who are GÇ£militiasGÇ¥ and groups that arenGÇÖt.
We support neither the Gallente Federation or the Caldari State, but any aid we are given from any organizations, be it Sisters of EVE, the Caldari State or GoonSwarm Federation, we accept. I can not comment if my Suresha has any plans for cooperating with Ishukone on this regard.

Be honest with yourselves before you're honest with me. Who do you fight for and why..? But, most of all, does it really matter..? I fight for my corporation, and my corporation works for the Intaki people. Our homeplanet has for a long time been considered a crown jewel of the Federation, yet time and time again the Federation has neglected us and ignored our calls for assistance. To me, any fight that benefits my corporation, and the Intani colonies, is a fight worth taking.

The Federation, nor the State, will idle by while the Intaki try to go through diplomatic or peaceful means. I have tried to play the diplomatic role and it only opens up more chinks in the armor, something we cannot afford on our war torn and ravaged world.
Don't mistake me, I don't implicate that the ILF is at war with anyone - merely that this passive role of trying to win the Federation over by peaceful means won't get you anywhere. Most successions from the Federation are done by violent means because it is all they will accept. My question now is why -NOT- claim our succession through violent means? We are immortal. Every time we fall, we are right back in the thick of it. If no-one will assist in the liberation of Intaki Prime than why pander to politics?
Perhaps it's time we Intaki trail away from our soft-spoken ways and raise our voices.

As a Caldari I would support your secession from the Federation. If your people ever need a helping hand call on us we will help we know the problems for we have been through them. I over my hand to your goals and will accept you as a brother against the Federation.

Must not know much about Intaki successionists do you, Caldari..? Neither the State nor the Federation are interested in the affairs of the Intaki. Remember that the Ishukone corporation was under great scrutiny for their aid to the Intaki people. Remember as well, that like many Federation systems and planets, the State had no problem buying up our homeland as though it were product. Tell me, Peacekeeper, were it your homeworld... How would you respond..?

Personally I don't think Jaques cares much as to whether or not your people actually achieve meaningful long term stability and independence. He is more concerned with seeing the Federation suffer the loss of a significant asset,

Perhaps it's time we Intaki trail away from our soft-spoken ways and raise our voices. Well, do share us the plans to declare war on the Gallente Federation and take over Intaki Prime, nevertheless its surrounding colonies. Most Intaki do not have any military training, and the number of Intaki capsuleers and clone soldier are far outnumbered by the Gallente and Jin-Mei. Immortal or not, you do not conquer a planet with a handful of troops and ships.
The simply fact is that we don't have enough manpower for such an endeavor, and even if we had, it would lead to centuries of war, bickering and unnecessary bloodshed, something we suffer from already in the form of the Empyrean War. The Caldari had entire armies and fleets to help secede from the Federation, and to this day their relationship is still reserved at best, open conflict at worst.
I am more than glad to pursue our secession through politics, when the alternative is endless loss and bloodshed.

Aeon Amadi wrote:My question now is why -NOT- claim our succession through violent means? We are immortal. You need only look at the historical and seemingly unending violence between the Caldari and the Gallente for all the reasons you should ever need for why the Intaki sovereignty should not secede violently. Why should we intentionally inflict the hardship violence will bring on ourselves and everyone who is to follow us?
As for your second comment: Yes, capsuleers are immortal. Dusters are immortal. But the vast and overwhelming majority of the population of Intaki and the other colonies are not. Even setting aside the privileged few Intaki baseliners who undergo rebirth rituals, there are many others of various racial backgrounds and cultures living in the sovereignty who don't. Regardless, baseliners are born, grow old, and die...and those lives would be at even greater risk than they are now if ILF were to promote secession via war.
The secession of the Intaki sovereignty isn't just for us, the immortals. We are campaigning for the good of everyone who lives in those systems. The propaganda says capsuleers, and I suppose dusters, are 'demi-gods'. That gives us enormous power... We have a responsibility to wield that power wisely, rather than wield it simply because we can. |

The ILF is a small fish in an ocean. Simple fact is that most of the Intaki are loyal Gallente citizens. If they weren't than they wouldn't make up a large part of the Federal Bureaucracy, despite being smaller than most of the other groups.
I fight for freedom, liberty and egalitarianism. It's a hard road to make because you have to keep going back to rebuild it. I can't pave the road but I will gladly flatten the landscape for it.
