Both Minmitar weapons. Both same meta level.
One is light weapon, other is sidearm, both are projectile cqc weapons.
;ight weapon costs less to fit, somehow.

Proto SMG is 57 Cpu, whereas CR is 82(yes i memorized these, same as the 2204 EN drain on the Gazelle RJ legs in Last Raven.) Pg for Boundless cr is 9, correct? SMG is like 11 for Ishukone Assault, whereas Sixkin/boundless is 7.

Incorrect, at least at standard. STD CR: 22 CPU, 3 PG STD SMG: 15 CPU, 3PG
The CR is too good, but that's no reason to lie. |

or... maybe he doesn't use either of those gun?
PG's the killer, anyway. Way harder to get one unit of PG than a few of CPU.

The OP also doesn't say what his skills are at. If he has Sidearms at level 1 and Light Weapons at level 5, that could easily make the CR seem to have lower CPU/PG cost. Ditto for Fitting Optimization skills.
The PG costs on the SMG are definitely higher than the CR (I have 0 in both Fitting Optimization skills) but the CPU is quite a bit higher on the CR (and I have L. Weapons at 3 and Sidearms at 0).
Still doesn't make much sense that a Minmatar sidearm uses more power than a Minmatar Light Weapon that satisfies the same exact niche on the battlefield... |

I'm nothing special and I don't boast otherwise but while I don't hold specifics forever I have a general ball park of where things are stat wise, after I discard them from my fits I don't keep them stored in my memory. In this particular case I did not remember seeing the CR being lower fitting wise than smg's, so hearing such surprised me, but as others pointed out he is using asmg vs a regular CR.
I have my own cheap excel fitting tool which I play with which I already have the new weapons and suits in there, which I have shared my caldari scout ones with a corp on my alt.
Regardless should I feel special for getting called out on an alt?

It's pretty irrelevant that it's comparing an assault SMG to a regular CR - the DPS is still comparable but the extra range of the CR is the real kick in the balls here.

My AC was a mix of various option parts along with Chrome-Murakumo AC build.
Second gen. Was Karasawa-Moonlight with Crest Core along with Mirage body parts, and of course the OP-Intensify.
Third gen is Aaliyah frame with various boosters just to achieve "Third Stage" quick boosting. The tunning was b**** as I always changed it with each AC mod.

ER-Bullitt wrote:I didn't realize you could fit a CR in a sidearm slot? oh wait The requirements shouldn't even be close, let alone less for the CR in any regards at any level. In every single case the CR has greater DPS and at least double the optimal range. Sidearms are supposed to be smaller, less powerful counterparts to light weapons and should have their fittings requirements adjusted appropriately as such against their racial lights. It's the case for all other sidearms, so why not the SMG and CR?
And if you want to just throw in the 'it's a sidearm and you can't fit a CR in that slot' comment - then you'll also say that a HMG should have comparable fittings to CRs? (FYI - it doesn't)
