on gallente assault ship skill when i run missile and rarely i use the small railgun( because it such a bad av gun against tanks, but will dominate in air to air combat) now i fly a python which is more effective for my playstyle than the incubus
Doesn't matter we are getting another vehicle respec when CCP release all the racial vehicles
I want my minmatar assault dropship CCP

a ROF buff to small missile is redundant anyway- kills you get with missiles tend to be fired as single shots when you pass the reticule over target, - having more ROF is redundant for this purpose

It's actually vastly important when it comes to taking out Forge gunners, and it allows you to ALWAYS be a threat to vehicles simply because you fire so quickly, even shields will get worn down if not running hardeners.

The good news is that you'll get more SP. In fact you've already received some since reading this response. I wouldn't count on a 2nd vehicle respec. They re-arranged the tree such that it seems they're trying to avoid another respec when the Amarr and Minmatar vehicles arrive. It's also possible that the Gallente Assault Dropship may one day come into fashion, and you'll be be like those guys who are cool because they liked a band before it was popular. It might even get you laid (doubtful).

I already went for Gallente ships, but I'm gonna going into them twice as hard after reading that last bit.

I <3 my Incubus personally, I have it to 5 and wouldn't trade that SP in for the world. It does suck that good Madrugars can shrug off attacks without a damage amp, but you're still good fire support, and you SHRED shield vehicles. Not to mention railgun is the champion of dropship vs dropship combat, since you don't have to lead your shots and you can reliably engage from pretty far away.
That said, I do run my missiles most of the time simply because it's better to be able to kill infantry and harass vehicles than kill vehicles and be a complete non factor to infantry.
So, it's situational until blasters or rails somehow become worth a damn vs infantry

Skilled Incubus' with rails are devastating air to air. They are rare though, since dog fights are few and far between, but I'm convinced rail turrets are the best/ only turret for dogfights.
