Why did you end up going with your original Race? If it is a holdover from EVE, why did you go with that one originally? Even if aren't your Race because you had no idea what it meant or had the Enforcer, Sentinel, Logistics, Sniper decide which Race you are, what Race do you most identify with/like and why? |

Gal starter fits had armour repair and low slots to try out a greater selection of mods. This was waaaay before armour buff - but it was obvious armour would get something at some point as well.
Plus the Gal Medic is hands down the most fullest and useful free fit.
Kinda wanted to be Amarr though - shame about the complete lack self repair.
You probably don't know me. But next time you get gunned down or exploded by a Valor scout...check the name.

Originally chose Gallente, then I read the lore and realized Gallente are the most evil of all the the empires yet still get people to think they are the good guys with their cover of freedom and democracy. After looking at all the races subjectively I realized Amarr was the least evil and thus the most good and New Eden's best hope of achieving peace (though let's be real, CCP would never allow that!)

I already had a Caldari character back from beta, and made a gallente character a little before Uprising... So it was between Minmatar or Amarr. Minmatar had a scout. The Amarr did not. So here I am.
It was not the best decision I've made. Months of pain, entire fittings rendered useless, wasted SP...

I found the Minmatar very relatable to my ancestral history (slavery, and successful violent uprising). The character I actually play with is Gallente though, because I like their merc quarters better; I consider myself Minmatar immigrant to the Gallente Federation (Minmatar immigrants make up a large chunk of the Gallente population).
Aesthetically I find the Minmatar weapons and dropsuits pretty cool, though I tend to use Amarr gear because I like their style even better, and I like being tanky, and the scrambler rifle.

Caldari, because they specialize in shield defenses. Shields with high natural regeneration work exceptionally well for assaulting, charging into firefights without support, absorbing lots of damage, and doing it all again after a quick recharge.

I like the Minmatar too, that's why my guy us half Minmatar.
I chose Gallante because it is more flexible RP wise.

This is why I'm caldari not really tied to any race since gallente stopped being what I expected it to be somewhere from open beta to now
