The issue:
Currently anyone can just use your psn and mess around on your dust account, or even worse terminate it.
The resolve:
Completely optional, upon logging in type a password.
When pressing terminate, type terminate and once again at 10 hours before biomass type password to confirm.
Password can be changed through settings.
This is a mmo, so please do so as you could be afk for two minutes and lets say, your mischievous brother enters and allocates 1.2 mil sp you were saving for level 5 skill dropsuit. Or even worse, delete your account.

Are you suggesting that if you give your PSN password to someone, and they mess up you account, that it's anyone else's fault but your own?

No, he's suggesting that in the fifteen minutes he leaves the PS3 on to go smoke (or **** or whatever it is he's doing) that someone expressly came over to his PS3, picked up the controller, opened the neocom, logged out of Dust 514, waited for the update process to run through, hit 'x' to log in, found one (or all) of his characters, set them up for termination, waited the 18-24 hours (I can't remember) it took to delete the character and finalized the termination/biomass process all before he could finish his cigarette.
Sarcasm aside, this would require dev time to implement and is a really circumstantial thing that would likely never happen to the average player. Dev time that could be better spent working on something else.

A few simple tips:
-if you can lock the door to the room the ps3 is in
-don't have "save password" checkout on your PSN account
-log out of PSN while AFK
Dust won't disappear within the 15 mins you're away,stop being so lazy.

You guys are overlooking the fact someone could just up and delete your psn ACCOUNT from the inside... 
Then of course, run for your life, cuz the owners gonna blow!

This doesn't seem like something CCP should ever waste time on. They have better things to do than add an unnecessary feature that just basically hand-holds players when frankly it is player's responsibility to ensure their account is safe.
