Yes, when I press one of the menu buttons. To avoid this, I try not to press menu buttons while being shot at.

I get this bug a lot, at first I thought it was my controller, but it happened with a diferent controller also, and doesn't happen with other games. My brother was just about to make a thread about it. I don't think its a hack, but its a bug.

I get this all the time. I thought it was just my controller for a long time now (since open beta) and saw a dev say somewhere it's the controller's fault to some guy. The odd thing is that my controller only messes up on Dust and not other games like KZ3, BF3, and many other. Yesterday I got a new DS3 controller and its been happening with it too.
I tried to do a test to see what I could do to open the menus, and I did it by just moving the analog sticks. For some reason, it happens a lot more when using a dropship which might just be because flying and assault dropship requires one to move those sticks a lot. |

It's definitely a controller issue. I have four pads. Two of them are doing dirty tricks when you are least expecting and two of them are quite obedient...
The bad boys are black :/ Model: CECHZC2E, S/N: ZW60103301990, OE80111300442
And the good girls are dark blue metallic ;) Model: CECHZC2U, S/N: ZR80097101421, ZR80097201240 (looks like almost same batch?)
All pads where bought at the same time, 4 years ago and all are used. Have noticed the black pads cause troubles in other games too, though not so often/dramatic than DUST....
What color/model/SN is your's? I am serious :)
