- how was vacation?
I'm planning a rewards program for my corp, and currently have to add everyone to my contacts list to see WP, kills and such.
- is there a system with the new ' contributions ' tab/structure to see this info more readily?
I noticed last night that me and my directors no longer have our roles visible in DUST. It is a DUST/EVE mixed corp.
- did the hot fix to EVE and or DUST this week break something?
And finally
- when do we get team deploy?

FoxFour / Nullarbor have always worked on both EVE and DUST, but they're currently working on EVE related projects. We also have some new Devs here in Shanghai, and I'll be running an introductory post for a few of them and their responsibilities for you guys in the near future. :)

Just a heads up, the removal of Team True Grit from DUST was NOT cuts on the dev team.
It's just that coordination between Shanghai and Iceland proved difficult, so they moved TTG to work on EVE, and there are new people in Shanghai.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Because there is no longer any need to coordinate between EVE (Reykjavik) and DUST (Shanghai).

I guess it takes some manpower to introduce the necessary features in Eve which will allow capsuleers to contract mercs to defend their PIs from AI-Enemies and so on. Right? :)

Wow. So, while most of us are clamoring for more meaningful interaction between the games the team working on it is reassigned with little to no word? The Eve/Dust link is why a lot of us were interested in the game and continue to hang around in the hopes that it becomes something more (even non-Eve players like myself).
I understand that this may actually improve things long term due to the previously mentioned communication issues but seems to mean we shall see nothing meaningful short term. It also gives me some worries on how requests for support (improve the link) between the two locations will go.
I really wonder if this is the start of how we move forward with the new EP and part of why the current CPM0 seems to be warning of a rough road ahead and a potentially difficult term for whomever is elected to CPM1.
Last but not least....you will be missed FoxFour (SoxFour). |

We're getting to the point where DUST is going to be a lot more dependent on EVE-side features and seamless integration.
We're also getting to the point where CCP is going to need a new division with a title something like 'Universe Operations' that focuses on New Eden as an entity. The EVE, DUST, Valkyrie divisions will become supplicants to these god-like devs-of-the-universe.
What will we do then? Honeyed lamb won't be enough.
I support SP rollover.
