Well are they?
The viziam scrambler pistol does 88hp damage per shot 11 clip size 500rpm plus level 5 proficiency, its dealing around 100hp of damage per shot .
So the question is, is it OP? |

I dont think so if they were op they would be the FOTM and everyone would be using them....they require actual skill to use cause since its shots are pin point with small range,small clip you have to make those shots count. Its true power comes from headshots which requires aiming which most people are terrible at Ive noticed...that might include me  ... |

That is basically what people have come to talk about with anything being too powerful. It is just how the community looks at something. TAC AR's weren't overpowered until AR's were nerfed in range by about 20% and everyone suddenly realized they were extremely deadly. Same thing when the Scrambler first came out. "Meh, it is okay. *two months later* Dang this thing is incredible powerful!"
Scrambler Pistols are a good sidearm, probably about as good as a SMG. They are powerful but probably not overly powerful, at least not to the point that it is noticeable. It just delivers the damage in a different fashion compared to the SMG. The time you can tell that something is overpowered is when it is used ubiquitously. Best example was the Flaylock; who cares what your primary weapon was because the Flacklock was generally flat out better. |

It's not overpowered, it just sees a major increase in power as you level it up.

i use a scrambler pistol sometimes. and no its not op. smg's are often more use though in the right hands the scrmbler pistol is amazing thosse hands are not mine.

ScP is awesomely powerful, sure, but only at close range. You really don't have much room for error - either kill the guy in eleven shots (can sometimes be challenging) or you die when you're reloading. Definitely a great backup weapon, but if it's your primary? You'd best be a crack shot.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

I'll go ahead and clear this up, since I die way more than the rest of you combined: no, the scp is not op. I have been killed by scps only a few times more than nks recently, and that approaches zero. Rrs and crs, however, are blowing my guys out every few seconds. As a matter of fact, hardly anything else gets me anymore. But of course, everyone knows how broken those two are.
