Can we get a first person altimeter or other instruments for dropships. A pilot doesn't know how close his gunners are or how many rounds of ammunition they have. A pilot should know all the conditions of his vessel. Also small turret ammo indicator for all vehicles. |

YES!!!! altimeters, artificial horizons, airspeed indicators, proximity warnings, I mean an instrument cluster like you have in real life.
most vehicles don't need it but dropships could really benefit from it.
especially in FP mode where the pilots has so little peripheral vision that they need real meaning full data. |

More than just altimeters and extra hud conditions, better handling, i've stolen many dropships and only find it worth to crash it's so hard to fly, I mostly fly them for laughs

I agree 1000%. Ideally every instrument should be toggle-able in the game options, in both 3rd and 1st person views. |

IGÇÖd be all up for it if we were able to turn on and off what HUD features we wanted. Otherwise, its a nice feature but I wouldn't want all that to get in the way of the targeting reticle on the Assault Derpships, besides hardly anyone pilots in 1st person anyway.....

We need a FP view with an unobstructed peripheral vision. Take that camera and put it in the bloody cockpit. You don't need to watch the ass end of your ship. With the camera in the ship you won't lose sight of the horizon when you look down and you won't get such confusing views of the ship's attitude as the camera swings around.
With sensors on the hull you can "look through" it from inside via a virtual view.
Honestly, the TPV camera is like trying to drive your car from the back seat of a chase car. |
