Will anything change? Its just in a very bad state, I have played nothing but Min FW for two days straight, and have not lost ONE battle.
Not one!
I can even AFK, and we still win! The Amarr team is getting redlined so damn quickly. Majority of matches have been a redline, no competition, and thats not fun for both teams. (Well, definitely not for me anyway, so boring  )
So will 1.8 see any changes?
Increase LP Gain?
More LP Items? (I saw the Cloak doesn't have a 'State' variant, really CCP, really?)
District Locks? (If Amarr capture a District, it should be invulnerable for a set amount of time, right now its the Amarr wins a District, somehow, the Min immediately reattack it and continue to do so until the Amarr lose it)
Increased Chance of 'Loot Drops'? (The salvage is just horrible in FW, and as far as I know, isn't based on performance)
An actual incentive to try? (An AFKer, and Redline sniper get just as much WP as someone who supports the team / slays the opposition / plays the objective, this is not right)
Team Deploys?
So, anything? Anything at all?
I'm sure there is more I left out.

Team deploy would be nice. A big thing they could do however is not allow you to play FW until you specifically choose which race or races you want to fight for. If you want to fight for all four, then go for it. The big difference here is it will be your choice. Right now a lot of newer players who don't realize there is a way to select which faction you can fight for are queuing up for FW with all four races selected and thus getting placed on Amarr or Caldari because they are the least populated and need players to get matches started. If the change was made so you mad to manually select your faction(s), it would force those players to realize you can select your factions and surely some of them would choose to hop on over to the Gallente or Minmatar sides and help even out the new player distribution.
Yes, I am theorycrafting that a big part of the imbalance is because of CCP's terrible UI at the Battle Finder.

I play Caldari and i didnt won any out of my last 10 games.
Anytime i try i play 2-3 games and ragequit, because after any match i'm top 3 with my uplinks and the C4 kills, because i can hold a posi for myself and end with a KDR of 1.
What about the rest of the team?
1-10
2-13
0-14
0-16
1-9
and so on....
well, maybe this is also based on the fakt that i see 50% of my team in caldari basic suits before the game even starts.
This is how i see it.. please correct me if I'm wrong here:
Gallente suits = FOTM
Minmatar has the "OP" Rifle that you can buy in the LP store and you win = Profit
Amarr doesn't give that much, while hardcore Amarr players maybe got the templar BPO's
Caldari shield cant keep up in a 1on1 if you dont have the time to recharge the shields, so we get overrunned by Gallente
Over all i'm starting to get frustrated about Dust
-proto stomping
-redline railtanks
-FW broken
-districts locked (not that i fight for them.. but the fakt that they cant fix it is just SAD)
