(watch video to understand why I ask ^^) Welcome to another DUST 514 video. On the weekend we compiled a squad of only laser rifles (generally speaking). The problem is that outside optimal range there useless. Oh, and they don't tier well. Sees prototompers... Sees blueberries start to snipe... Pulls out commando suit with laser rifle and swarm launcher...

Show more diversity man! hehe, very true. We tried to run normally which didn't go well initially so we decided to use the elevation which worked exceptionaly well. We were hoping to get Manus Peak, but it just didn't happen sadly.

Or so it goes when I use it. Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters. Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

I mean, you barely had to preheat for a lot of those kills, they just stood there. Why it's UP: couple weeks ago I decide to bring out the LR for fun b/c it was a one-sided dom match and it was boring otherwise. The second I fire out my LR, which you can hear a mile away, and sends out a huge beacon saying "hey I'm right here" I start taking damage from... I have no idea! The RR has the same range as the LR, but without: - Much sound unless you are pretty close - That fun but crazy heat/damage/overheat mechanic. - NO GODDAMN BULLET TRAILS It has the same range I do with none of the drawbacks AND I have no clue who is shooting me because it's a fcking ninja weapon without sound or a big beam that tracks right back to the user for everyone to see. It was more for the bling at the time haha! We came accross some exceptionally well organised groups and close range maps which did not help running on the ground. Hence opting for the elevated positions :) Thanks for the offer however ^^ Actually what was funny is we held objectives and defended them well from above. Like in the vid we pinned down a full squad and more at B. We were laughing a lot during that match

I a glad the laser is getting a buff in 1.8 ^^
