Obv it would be a small amount not like EVE amounts
Just for example say 5quid a month and varying deals for 3months/6months/12months
Would you pay it?
What would you want for that amount?
What would you want in return from the game ie items/equipment/suits etc
Would it help the development of the game?
If done right it could be intresting, i just dont know what i would want in return apart from knowing the game is being worked on and advancing to a more polished product
EDIT: Btw it would be optional and not pay to win

um how about isk purchasable respecs yeah they make the game good ide pay 5 bucks for it gimme respecs lemme paint my suits..and give a mode that is not team reliant. team que..be able to have more than 5 channels..valid rewards system

If they change they're NDA policy and tell us whats being released when in advance, I wouldn't mind paying an optional subscription for some extra stuff

They would make a ton on them AUR respecs
It would have to be restricted and maybe made expenisve so like only 2 are able to buy in the year and its like 20quid for example just to stop spam and FOTM
As for ISK respecs they would have to be pretty weak, like only respecing the last 1mil SP you spent for example
I agree with painting suits
I would pay AUR for that, each suit and vehicle should have a 'paint' slot next to the suit icon and you can buy paint for AUR but it would be a BPO so you could use the same colour on different fits
Warframe has it, i spent a little bit of platnium which is warframes real money currency on getting better colours for my suit

Dust isnt worth any kind of monthly sub
I spend more time since 1.7 rebooting ps3 due to "fatal error" and relogging due to "internal error" and then theres getting chucked in games that have finished and the infinite loading screen
Then few games i do get in are generally half way through, and naturally, i get lumped on the looseing side thats been redlined already
I spend more time just trying to find a match that doesnt bug out and hasnt already been ruinnning for 5+ mins than i do actually playing
And what are ccp doing, oh yeah, working on dropsuits that should have been here a year ago

I bought a merc pack every month since closed beta up until they removed it, after that I bought some AUR and spend it all on boosters so I have boosters for 3-4 month at a time.
So if they just included active, passive and faction boosters and a tiny bit of AUR to have a little fun with I would gladly pay a mounthly subscribtion like I already do in Eve.
But first CCP would need to fix ALL the obvious mistakes they made with modules being for the wrong slots, Ballance in weapons and modules and racial bonuses, Etc. Etc. Etc.
Basically CCP needs to get there fingers out of there arses and fix the game, even hire and fire if needed. |

How can you as a gamer even suggest that this game is worthy of sale on any scale?
This game is like your buddy's garage hobby, that neither he nor anyone else takes seriously. He just tinkers with it for years and when he proudly rolls it out it's still just an old piece of **** that his own wife wouldn't be caught dead in beyond the christening lap.
Dust514 has a place in this world - buried next to 23,000 copies of E.T. in some remote desert location.

no thanks. and theres nothing actully worth spending money on atm. aside from an active booster cause i play to much.
edited to add. i bet its that guy from ea who destroyed bpo's. and i bet he worked on battlefield play for free at some point. which is a gigantic lump of turd that hasnt died the miserable death it deserves. and who's idea it was to name dropsuits after devs. |

Is this a ******* troll post? Are you kidding me right now? Why would anyone subscribe to this game in its current state? Why would anyone who has been here from the beginning pay money to belong to this roller coaster of builds?
They need to keep this version of Dust in its everlasting Beta, and shift all profit made into developing a title release on the PS4. Use what they have now as the beta version for the full release on PS4 in a year and a half.
Let the game be free to download and free to play up to 4-5 mil SP, then once on PS4, maybe a $4.99 a month subscription fee. But only after they have sufficient statistics and racial parody to create a balanced game. I have given up hope for the PS3 version ever being a fully functional game. My hopes are that they have the common sense to string this current game along long enough to collect the data they need to build a great release on superior technology w/ the PS4.
Oh and all vets will get an SP reset, but characters and inventory will be ported over

I would be fine with a $10/month subscription supposing DUST leaves it's beta state. Some requirements for me to consider a subscription model...
- PvE - preferably more than one type
- Another public contract game mode
- Full racial weapons parity
- Full racial dropsuit parity
- Full racial vehicle parity
- EWAR
- Industry
- Player Market

you can achieve free roam with limited players, GTAO and Red Dead both have done it with only 16

Immersion would have to be a lot better for me to justify even a $5 subscription to the wife(yes, i'm whipped). Even then, it would be a tough sell. Give me something to fight for. Until then, I would have to say no.

actually i think it should work like this with the respecs each time you purchase one the price should get bigger a timer should also exist say 1 week to start x4 multiplied
with a x *.5 for price..so you could only buy one so often and each time you did both the cost and cool down before you could buy another one would increase..they should then offer aur and isk respecs.
and i like your paint idea they could even offer different packages that give way more colors different types of colors
for example and elite paint kit 50$ adds 3 slots to all suits for paint
each slot should coordinate with changing a color pattern that the suit already has ..most games have a paint system similar.
i would want my tank brilliant pink and any marking on it deep purple

If you like people leaving the game then sure and here I thought people want to actually get more people to play .  Only in these forums people indirectly make up stupid ideas that will want to make people quit the game. Even if it wasn't mandatory the presence of it will make some people angry and quit the game . |
