Ever since I've skilled into NK, I have NOT been able to stop using them. They're just too cool. I haven't touched my shotgun in days now, and I usually ran it EVERY SINGLE GAME (unless it was a big map without a city, then I would run CR). Now I just run my NK fit every match, and I've realized that the NK is MUCH more powerful than the SG and although it doens't have those "few" extra meters of range, you can have a much better time zeroing in on your opponent with NK. The SG are just not powerful enough nor are they fixed (I find myself getting killed sometimes because even though I do a full body shot with the SG, the shield is "hit" but there is no decrease in health). Either they need to hit harder or fix that hit detection, because if it isn't fixed, I'm going to be staying with my knives.

Knives are only good from behind or if the enemy dosent see you
Shotgun is only good from behind or against standard and millitia suits

NK as shotguns have a low success rate,you can shot 4 rounds deadon and only 1-2 connect(not counting how low of damge they do pass 7 meters,at least with NKs you know that guy is diced ham in one strike.
A strange game.

the SCR rifle is an awesome SCOUT weapon,since it works as a pseudo shotgun with its charged shot, instead of having to close in you need to aim for the head, and since you are a scout,probably with good dampening and RADAR skills,you can pick your fights.
If something is a fact in dust 514, is that SCR RIFLE is king of 1 vs 1 Engagements, now add the fact you will be probably attacking from BEHIND and with some time a Headshot....
100% Kill chance...

ScR is a better shotgun than the shotgun.
It can't compete with the Charge+Spam
Nova Knives though.....
Silent, and they don't overheat 
Nothing beats the feeling of a 5 man NK killfeed.
Nothing says "F**K YOU!" like a direct Flaylock to the face.
