Well, there is a better explanation. CCP made this suit before the Gallente assault existed but never released the suit. Now they did. Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives. Tuna > Tacos

More fun lore about Quafe: since they are so ubiquitous in New Eden (You better believe you are going to find Quafe brand products all over the place in the Caldari State) they were called upon by the Amarr empire to represent the Gallente Federation in a dispute over the ownership of a solar system.

Posterboy. Yes the Caldari are CCPs poster boy. They flaunt them whenever they possibly can. The Caldari have more Vanity suits than the other races combined almost. Oh and BPO vehicles? There isn't a single Gallente BPO LAV but there's at least 4-5 BPO Caldari ones.

Seriously though, it *** p*es me off. It's not laziness at all. It was made back in Closed Beta and was seen on Singularity before we were even on Tranquility. A lot has changed since then and CCP has since kind of abandoned vanity suits all together for the time being. Best guess is to conserve memory until they can figure out a different way to implement them what with textures being pretty memory heavy. Posterboy. I'd like a new color for the non pre release suits. Basically, any Gallente suit besides the scout(we have so many) Any Amarr besides heavy. Any Minmatar suit besides Logi(not that many color schemes for the Minny Logi though) And Caldari...well...they only have medium frame suits...soooooooo...
