While I can understand that there has to be some limit to the LP payout, levels after 10 could unlock access to badass skins for dropsuits and weapons. I'd totally keep fighting for the chance to get some Logicloop style DS designs..maybe make them more militant in design. It would be a nice way to showcase long term dedication to one faction.
Its hard for certain groups to win given the broken nature of FW.....I think all Faction variants need their own colour schemes though.

Work needs to be done on the model. How contracts are generated, Attacking vs Defending, district locking as a possibility, selecting where to deploy, other mechanics to affect and allow Dust side swings in power and prevent certain factions having to attack./defend the same district 4-5 times consecutively.

FW mechanics are rather poorly considered.
Community assumes FW is a grind so goes for the factions with higher win rates....which only pushes the balance further out.
Player market is needed, and incentive to buy FW gear with is to make loosing FW faction gear more valuable.

Is that really it? In my experience people fight for the side that makes their fav suit/weapons/equipment. What's the point of simply grinding levels for the winning side if you run Caldari or Amarr gear? For the sake of just farming Minmatar/Gallente gear for the market? If I used Amarr or Caldari stuff I'd want Amarr or Caldari stuff and if it's to sell then there will always be plenty of all the races to buy my farmed gear. Perhaps it's just a simple matter of more people preferring Minmatar and Gallente gear?
It is it. For the most part I grind for the Amarr because its the right thing to do. They are the best race, the only ones worth fighting for, and the only group trying to unite humanity, and capable of doing it.
But FW is not about being able to grind for one faction for X weeks then switch with no consequences. FW needs to be stricter. Standings need to mean something, and completely if you have a high enough faction ban you from the opposing factions FW requiring sizable ISK, current standing, and time investments to return back to being able to enter that factions FW.
You should be required to sign up for FW either personally or corporately.
This is what EVE FW is like, and it works. Dust doesn't because there is no requirement to be loyal.

Knight Solitaire wrote:I was hoping that the suits would actually show the emblems of the faction that creates them on the suit, same thing for the guns too.
Amarr Suits should have twice as much gold Minmatar suits should have twice as much Duct tape, rust and cardboard Caldari State suits should have twice as many edges Gallente Federation Suits should have twice as many curves
Amarr Navy content is actually more of a silvery/platinum. and navy blue/ or black geometric stripes.
I wish I had those suits.
