In February, the hearts of many grow heavy. But love is a battlefield and there are none better equipped to deal with the damage than the mercenaries of DUST 514. And toughest of all of them are the brave men and women who don the heavy suits, acting as a shield and line of defense for their more squishy squad mates.
Operation Mauler
It's time for the heavies to make their power known on the battlefield! From February 19th to March 5th, players can participate in Operation Mauler, where heavy suit users will be pitted against those who stick to the lighter suits to prove their skills. This event will run across all contract types.
Wear a Basic Heavy or Sentinel dropsuit and score kills with heavy weapons to earn bonus SP and extra weapons to continue your destructive rampage! For every kill you make with a HMG or Forge Gun, you'll earn extra 500 SP (up to a cap of 500k SP), plus one Prototype AUR version of the weapon you used (up to a total of 300). Plus, if you kill a vehicle, you'll earn double the WP earned for the kill as bonus SP (up to a cap of 250k SP). That means there's a potential total of 750000 bonus SP to be earned!
But life as a heavy isn't all tank kills and bonus SP. Because anyone who scores a kill against a player wearing a Basic Heavy or Sentinel suit will earn bonus 250 bonus SP (up to the same 500k SP cap) plus an ISK bounty based on the tier of the dropsuit (capped at 10 million ISK).

I cant wait I am going to make so many people suffer. I am a Dren Heavy with a standard HMG fit. So this event was designed for me . I am so freaking happy. I cant wait for everyone to try and kill me. I can careless for I have been honing my skills with my fellow heavies and there is going to be a lot of death on the battlefield.
I will personally hire a professional Logi to keep my FAT ASS up and running. I will pay 5 Million a day until I cap, so I say 3-4 days at minimum, maybe longer. So from the the 19th until I cap I will be paying a Logi at random to be my personal medic. You must have proto rep tool or proto needle with advance rep tool to be eligible.
So post if your interested in squading with me as a heavy or Logi. I will pay only one logi per day to be my medic. So if your interested in making some ISK and want to show off your skills as a Logi leave your name and I will be in contact.

You need to look no further Calvin.
I am usually on between 21:00 eve time & 23:00 eve time Sun - Thursday and 20:00 - 02:00 Fri & Sat.
I have a mic and can run whatever you want me to on my suits.
If I were you I would pay on a match by match basis as people might not be on the same time zones as you.

although to be fair i'm thinking of rolling out the super secret heavy char i've been workign on for the past year. gave a quick test run other night and say first time i had ran a heavy i didn't do too shabby.
for a logi though there is tons in the corp but i'm sure they will probs already be booked up wih the s**t ton of heavies we have too

Ok I will. I will be sending out invites and what days I need Logi's. You pick the date and I will work around your schedule. Money will be deposited into your account once the day is done or your services is no longer needed.

Calvin B has been around for a good chunk of this game's life. Some of the better posts on these forums were authored by him.
As for Operation Mauler it's hilarious. Every time I try to go back to ignoring the game or AFK Farming these evil Event Devs drag my @ss back in. Curse them! *shakes a fist*
There was a Heavy Chat which I've lost the name for. Heady Murphy from Savage Arms should still have it.
I'll be around. Mainly to see if a bounty system of bonus SP is any better than a WP one.
