A small thread to come to if you wish to have any character, story, or lore based ideas refined and incorporated into your character Bios.
Please refrain from posting in this thread unless absolutely necessary unless your name in in the title. If anyone wishes to actively aid in the process of character development and creation for new RPers please message me in game and we can sort out how we want to organise this thread.
So Fire. Answer me a few basic questions.
What is your characters name?
What Race an Bloodline are you originally from?
Which Race/ Pirate/ Group do you wish to support? Would you like me to list a few?
Character (in game) combat proclivities?
These are just so I can get a feel for your character. Then I would like to squad with you again, all the better so see how you might RP a character, and then I can help you develop your lore more deeply.

First off, thank you so much :D
Now for the questions,
1. Ummm I'm fine with just giving him the nick name Fire of prometheus (fore cause he's bold and unpredictable, prometheus cause I can be useful) :p
2. (Forgive the stupidity) whichever blood line is true amarr
3. Ummm, kaalakiota (if possible), the Templars/Kameiras, or angel cartel
4. Ummm, I don't think twice very much in combat, so that will often lead to a swift death, I'm also really "gutsy" (like I'll be the first guy to make a run at a bunch of reds), I often just do stuff for laughs so if I'm not doing something serious, I'm most likely doing some goofy tactic or just plain messing with the reds. Currently I'm focused on commando (who would've guessed?) but can field proto logi and proto med Caldari (used as an assault suit)

1.) Understood so you would like Fire of Prometheius to be your characters Moniker like True Adamance is mine. In fact True Adamance is not my characters name but the name of his HAV.
So now you stand on a precipice of deciding whether or not you want a real name for your character. Since New Eden has no concept of Prometheus to my knowledge that could be a little trick to describe...unless you want to go with the direct.
"My name is Prometheus X______X Insert name here."
The fire could be a physical representation taken on by your character.
2.) True Amarr is the bloodline. Do you follow the Faith or not?
3.) Kalaakiota is a Caldari Megacorporation, here is a link to information on it. Read about the Caldari power blocs, especially the Patriots and Liberals. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Kaalakiota
The Templars are the strong arm of the Theological Council of the Amarr, we are warrior, scholars, monks, whatever the Theological Council needs us to be at any given time. Historically the Templars were the first Cloned soldiers, and are the Amarr empires foremost, in training and equipment, soldiers.
Unfortunately you cannot be a Kamiera. Kamieras are Minmatar children bred specifically to become soldiers. Because of this they are some of the best mortal soldiers known to New Eden. Harsh, practical, and utterly loyal Kanieras are designed to do what ordinary Amarrian soldiers cannot. They also have a tradition where they rub the ashes of their falled comrades into their wounds, or if required self inflicted wounds, so they will always be with one another.
The Angel Cartel are Minmatar Criminals and Pirates. I don't know much about them save for this link. Notably they smuggle into the Caldari State. So you could link that in to your characters Caldari angle.
https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Angel_Cartel
4.) bull headed, stubborn, "gutsy" summarise your character, he is likely to be the heavy lifter of the squad.
Right let me get thinking once you give me your preferred faction. I'll make a generalistic proposal of plot line for your to vet, and you can counter propose what you want in your bio after looking at something more fleshed out.
How does that sound. Last thing I want to do is high jack Prometheus as he is "Your" character.

1. Ok so for a real name perhaps Prometheus Medici
2. To an extent yes.....(I don't know much about the religion aside from minmatar are slaves, but not treated as we would expect them to be treated)
3. I'll be a Templar, (I do prefer rail weaponry almost as much as scrambler so perhaps I worked for kaalakiota at one point? Just a thought)
4. Sounds good, I'm also a dropship pilot and crazy LAV driver :p

Here are the Amarrian scriptures (should help in getting some insight into the Amarrian faith)
This is the beans on slavery.
Also, while I'm here, history of the Amarr Empire.

Religious Reformists are a growing group within the Empire especially since the reign of Heideran, and the Great Rebellion. The Amarr are coming to realise that while their duty is divine, there are other ways to reach the same conclusion.
As for the slavery Fire you simply need to understand it for what it is. For humanity to better itself sometimes the most pure and good things need to be perceived as something they are not.
Slavery is not for slavery's sake. It is so the peoples of New Eden might be tempered and exposed to the wisdom that is the Amarr way of life.
Kador personally is a reformist. He believe strongly that according to Imperial Law laid down be Heideran the mistreatment of slaves is a sin against God. This also stems from the more recent year of his life where he has had a more personal relation ship with slaves. However that doesn't mean Kador doesn't see slavery as abhorrant. He sees it as necessary.
Also the Amarr don't see the Minmatar as inferior, merely misguided. Almost like children who aren't yet educated on how to live their lives. For which the Amarr seek to teach them.
These kinds of personal distinctions will create your character. Think about what you want Prometheus to be....what you want him to represent.

Its up to you man. Your opinion will shape Prometheus. If you have no passion for his character you wont enjoy RPing him. Your own opinion shaped with a little bit of lore knowledge, and a little bit of individuality and creativity will make your character interesting.
For now heres another question.
Does Prometheus have any noticeable flaws. Physically? Mentally? Is he inspired and a romantic, willing to do foolish things, or uninspired and dispassionate? Is he not a born soldier, would be rather be a father, would he rather be doing something else, does the merc life style fulfil him entirely?

Ummm, he is a born intellectual, he craves knowledge, before he underwent the Procedure to become immortal, he was a bookworm, not your typical soldier, he is very opinionated but doesn't argue unless directly attacked (like in an argument). Ummm physically, he is thin doesn't look like a soldier, if you passed him in the street, you wouldn't take much notice to him. Average height. Brown hair, brown/gold eyes. He is willing to do foolish things (given that he is immortal, before he was, he was shy and quiet).
He isn't fulfilled by merc life, he is constantly seeking knowledge in the hopes that it will fulfil him and help him to solve the 514 mystery that his close friend from the Templars suffered deeply from (his friend was killed during a spasmatic episode in wich he attacked a royal guard)
(That last bit about the episode is a possible thought about his past)

I simply mean in terms of personality.
Roguish types traditionally would be snarky, condescending, over confident/ or confident, have a certain swagger to their step, or be charismatic.
I would not, for example call Kador a rogue that is not who he is.

Unfortunately not, not blood line changes have ever been offered in New Eden, all the blood lines represent are the greater racia; group with whom you share your lineage. Who you identify yourself with in game is entire down to who you want your character to be.
