Being destroyed doesn't mean you're bad at tanking. Refusing to deal with tanks properly means you're bad at infantry,

1. How long did they take getting into position and waiting for you to get in the correct spot for them to take you out? Any longer than 8 minutes is not classified as "easy."
2. What tier of forges? Std. then its somewhat impressive. If Proto. and why shouldn't they have had you if there were 2?
3. Had you even really lost any money compared to the dozens of matches you would have just went through without dying once? |

I don't lose money because I dont waste it.
The forge that finished me was ADV.
Didn't take them long, because it seems they have some semblance of intelligence.

Every tanker that come onto the map will eventually be destroyed by AVers even if just because they lucked out and got last hit over a rail tank. If this has not happened to you...it only indicated you rarely come out of the redline.

I kill tanks all the time and I also lose them all the time. Neither of which means tanks vs, AV is balanced. Two things stand out to me, large blasters have too much range and it's too easy for a tank to just haul ass away. So either reduce speeds (hell even only when severely damaged) or buff prox mines and remove the beep when there is no active scanner. Reduce blaster range to give infantry a chance to fight back from closer then 200+ meters.

No, it says that some of us are willing to dive in and have fun and lose some sh*t. That has nothing to do with knowing what to watch out for as a tanker.
The only tanks who survive are the ones worrying about survival and are fielding a maddy with rails most likely. AV wants to destroy tanks though, not just run them off so they complain.
The AVers are complaining about the tankers that move away. If you stay in the fight for fun then AV is quite balanced.

Yes, AV has adapted. When was the last time you've seen a QQ thread? Heck, now the only threads that even involve tanks are the ones you make.

4. You build you tanks however you like. But don't come on here time-to-time posting examples of your bad tanking. I use Militia hulls for my tanks, and I NEVER use modules to defend against AV, no matter how many there are... then again I was tanking before 1.7 and actually took the time to develop a skill for it, now I can do it with my eyes closed.
5. Finally, yes a player should be able to solo your tank, period. If you get OUTPLAYED you deserve to die. That 's like saying, oh a Militia Starter Infantry Fit shouldn't be able to kill my protosuit, no matter well he outplays me.

Physical evidence? That ARs should damage tanks? People complained that ARs would do less than 10% damage against tanks when 1.7 dropped. Sounds to me like they were upset they'd actually have to carry an AV weapon to deal with vehicles. Also sounded like before 1.7 even dropped, they were upset with the changes because vehicles weren't being nerfed into the ground.

In other news Ive been killed by a laser rifle(i was really surprised and kinda just stood there looking at the beam in awe as it was so long since i saw one) so the guns fine right not UP at all its just bad users right? right guys?
OK in all seriousness there is a inbalence with tanks and i have no idea how spkr does not see this, dont fear the nerf deal with it adapt and perfect your own set up to fight your role it is a part of Dust iam fairly certain everyone has been there we have all had out gear nerfed to the ground but we got to weather it out untill CCP fixs it. |

Don't fear the nerf? Tankers dealt with crap tanks and supremely OP AV for many months before 1.7. They've been spoiled, and actually have to work for kills now. They don't like it. Since we had to deal with them, or more like run away from them before they could kill us, tankers have become quite proficient. You can't nerf the brain.
