Why don't all races just have their own anti infantry and anti vehicle small turrets? (because CCP has a heavy workload and we're extremely demanding caldari is already covered they got a missile launcher and a rapid fire rail gun.
Give gallente a cannon that fires balls of plasma...like a plasma cannon, cept lower power and faster firing speed. Also increase the firing speed of the blaster because that thing is useless.
Minmatar gets an HMG mounted with duct tape, and give it a longer barrel for more damage and range, and slap on a mass driver with massive ammo stores.
Amarr gets a triple barreled repeating scrambler rifle, and a charging spotlight that fires an intense single burst and lazor awesomeness and makes a sound like PSHOOOOOWWWWWW
Idk what can be done about large turrets and I know racial variants of turrets aren't coming out anytime soon, mainly because the racial variants of other vehicles aren't out yet, but there's gotta be some temporary changes.
I mostly only see missile turrets on vehicles (excluding large turrets) rarely rail turrets but they're still pretty useful, rarer still are blaster turrets, that's because it's crap, the damage is great but that's if you can hit your target, the aiming mechanics on vehicles don't accommodate because you have to adjust for someone else's movements, a low powered accurate gun doesn't mix well, if you're going to have something rapid fire it should be even faster and less accurate so you can spray and actually hit something.

That's one of the most important parts, should've included them for all the weapons but for some reason lasers are the most awesome, rarely use em but still....
