At the moment we have 10 light weapons - 3 Gallente, 3 Caldari, 2 Minmatar, and 2 Amarr. So the 'racial parity' we're supposed to have for 2.0 presumably implies that there will be two more light weapons - 1 Minmatar and 1 Amarr. Any ideas what they'll be?

Amarr also need their own granade man! minmatar have locus, gal have flux, and cladari have AV, AMarr totaly need flash bangs or ones that remove your HUD for a few seconds. |

Sorry if this has been covered before. or at least one amarr and one minmatar heavy weapon We know there will be an extra Amarr and Gallente heavy weapon (I think?). So then there will be racial parity for heavy weapons. But that doesn't address the disparity with light weapons. |

I want 4 weapons for each race- a shotgun for all but caldari, and a sniper rifle for all but gallente, a launcher for all but amarr, and something else that would be amarr related (charge weapon?) that doesn't go to the minmitar

Minmatar do have a heavy weapon and 2 sidearms.
Caldari have a heavy as well and 1 sidearm.
Amarr have the least weapons I think with only 1 sidearm.
And Gallente only have light weapons(thought that will change after 1.8)
I hope we see the Amarr heavy laser and the Gallente Plasma thrower in 1.8 as well.

Did anyone notice in grenades in the marketplace there is an empty category (similar to the pilot) that says "Contact Grenades"?
Also, unless I am mistaken the Amarr LR does double duty as being both a long-range specialty weapon and also an AV weapon (although not as well in that role).

Contact Grenades used to be an aurm item that would explode on contact with an object I belive, I dotn think they sell them any more because they where considered OverPowered |

6: Looks Caldari to me. Looks pretty stout and robust to me so maybe a Caldari shotgun? Instead of pellets like the Gallente it would be rail-based slug for extra range?
7: Looks similar to the Scrambler Rifle but thicker and without any grip I can see, perhaps an Amarrian heavy weapon?
9: It's not smooth enough to be Amarrian or Gallente but doesn't have the strictly utilitarian look of the Caldari so my best guess is Minmatar. It looks like it has a reflex sight so probably a mid-range weapon of some kind. It has a grip so it's not a heavy weapon but is way to big to be a side arm. No idea what it might actually do.
14: Has a rather ergonomic look to it so I would guess Gallente. Looks very slmilar to the AR so I am not sure what it would do although it does appear to have an underbarrel. |

I do believe a Dev hinted at a new heavy item for Gallente and Amarr, Gallente would be getting the Plasma Morta I think it was, and Amarr the Scrambler lance. I think it was LogiBro who hinted at this, im sure he said Scrambler Lance but im not 10% sure on plasma Mortar, it might of been Plasma cannon or something like that.

Gallente need a Sidearm and long ranged weapon (Gallente Long range is more like medium range) also all current Gallente weapons need to be looked at.
Caldari need to HTFU with all their easy mode weapons.
Minmitar need....Minmitar have pretty much everything except for a sniper. |

Amarr do use launchers - a decent number of their T2 ships and even their T3 has bonuses to them. A Khanid Kingdoms rocket launcher could fill the amarr 'shotgun' role quite easily without any of this stupid 'hurr durr prisms' nonsense, just make it direct fire with an effective range of about 30m, 2.5m splash, and about 5 rounds chambered. The amarr also use drones on some ships too for the record. |

Minmitar need....Minmitar have pretty much everything except for a sniper. My justification for a gallente "long"-ranged heavy weapon is that its just a scaled up version of the ar(although it might similiar only because itll also shoot plasma).
Think about the weapons Gallente use in space. They shoot farther than 60m im sure. Same Tech, larger scale
