would 32v32 cause too much lagg? would the servers be able to handle it? The current maps are big enough for 32v32 easily. I would like arger matches and we have a player base thats large enough. still, the clone count would need to increase by double.
But, can your servers handle this/ is it something you will consider for 1.9?

was tested in closed beta and peoples PS3 where dieing left right and center just not possible at the moment, their is too much data track sadly

Maybe that's not doable without simplifying the game.
Question to the community: What would we be willing to sacrifice for larger player count?
Maybe - Passive scanning mechanic? - Area effect of weapons? - Simplify hit detection so all weapons use same mechanic? - Vehicles? - ...Fitting ability? (I'd weep if that had to go)
One things for sure: I'd happily sacrifice the graphics and effects on the Altar of Multiplayerability!

Would sooner have relatively stable performance than 32 versus 32. And you're certainly not getting both on PS3. |

24 vs 24 is in CCP's plan. At least for the PS3... In the PS4 it would be easy to go 64 vs 64 ... maybe someday we will see massive planetary battles with 128 vs 128 ...
