At any point in Dust's history there has always been a fotm weapon that people have been calling op. The MD, core locus grenades, flaylocks, AR and currently the RR or the CR.
If at the time each weapon also had a combat related bonus on certain race suits the problems and the complaints would be worse. Today if weapon is OP at least everyone can skill into it and compete relatively quickly, with racial weapon bonuses not so easy.
This will further limit diversity especially if there is a respec. |

Nope. I support racial weapon bonuses for Assaults so long as there are racial equipment bonuses for Logis.

Amarr Assault has had a weapon-related bonus since inception.
The ScR has had consistently less QQ about it than any other rifle, and it was hailed on release as 'the most balanced weapon in the game'.
Is that sufficiently well-reasoned?
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

you will still be able to equip anything you want just wont be as effective if you went more for the bonuses on the suits. think this might tone down fotm not sure yet |
