Hate redlining the enemy team? Dislike the boring matches you get all the time? Wish you could get more challenging games?
Well how about instead of squadding up as 6 players running protogear, you only run in smaller squads of 2-3?
I've been doing this with my buddy Frost Kitty and we absolutely tear up anyone in our path, but still keep the game balanced because we aren't overwhelming the enemy team. Less redlines, more kills, more warpoints, more fun. I tend to get around 4k wp per match doing this, Frost Kitty can get anywhere from 30-60 kills in a single game, and we have a BLAST playing this more challenging way.
(BTW, Frost Kitty only has CR Operation level 3...no proficiency. We both play with advanced weapons because proto is stupid, and because we're not scrubs)
Try it sometime. It'll help the game as a whole, and you'll probably enjoy it more too :)

Joke aside, just run BPO or militia suit to practice your gungame. There is no practice in running proto in pub matches.

Expecting people to do the right thing is a very toxic habit to have in life, son.
Squad finder is there for a reason. You can often tell if your team will win or lose in the first 5 seconds by checking to see how much of your team is divided into squads, or not.
Simply, not enough players are helping the new players. They don't want to be nudged on their podium. The irony is that its the #1 reason the game will die. |

You call 30-60 kills per game a "more challenging" way of playing it? I'm sorry, but I think you need to check your reasoning.
However, please don't get me wrong. I'm not blaming you, or any other good player/squad/corp who destroys in pub matches. You guys simply need to have something better to do in this game than play in pubs. In EVE, you won't find big 0.0 blobs camping highsec - lowsec gates, massacring helpless noobs. There should be a really good incentive in DUST to move you guys out of pubs. A game mode in which there are bigger risks and greater rewards. You need to have your own playground, because you are ruining all the fun in pubs to anyone who is a noob, or is playing outside organized squads (and this is a significant portion of playerbase). Sorry, but that's a fact.

There are people dedicated on hunting High-Sec miners such as these guys
and complete guides on how to AWOX/safari a corporation.
So ruining someones day is valid gaming in EVE though I agree with you that vet's should have their own playground (low-sec, WH, null etc.)

Nope, my reasoning is solid. If a sqaud of 6 players can get 10 kills each and it be "okay", then a squad of just me and Kitty can kill 60 players total without there being any difference. It's more challenging because instead of 6 players swarming the enemy team and getting 60 kills, it's just us two getting 60 kills. The number of enemies, clones, and spawns don't change, just the number of players that are killing those clones.
Keep in mind that I usually get around 2-10 kills in a single match because I'm mostly supporting and repping kitty. I hardly kill at all, he's the one doing most of the killing.

Of course it is, and I'm all for it. However, griefing noobs shouldn't be the primary activity of the majority of vets in DUST. Only those who are sufficiently socially handicapped should resort to such game style. 
And in spite all of the "sandboxiness" of EVE, a player who sticks to hisec space is still far more secure from griefing than those who choose not to. Apart from academy (which lasts very short), there's no such gaming area in DUST which provides at least some security to noobs.

If the two of you had more trouble with winning / killing, and actually struggle to keep your performance on par with what you perform while running with full squad, then I would agree that the game is more challenging for you.
Your reasoning is solid only in the sense that you and your buddy get more fun per match than you would by running with full squad of your protostomping friends. However, I don't think the level of enjoyment is that much greater to your enemies(victims), since to them the end result is approximately the same, and the only difference is that when there's only two of you, it might seem to them they stand a chance, which in turn results in more cannon fodder for your buddy.
You guys need better fights than those pubs offer. It would improve your enjoyment, as well as enjoyment of your current victims. It would also do wonders for the server population counts.

good lord ive been sayn this for 2 months now lol . while every once in a while i do run the six kin but over all its dren or advanced gear mostly . to teams pushn is soooo much fun . combat is really good and some fire fights are just amazingly awesome . bulletts flying ,ppl dieing all over , logis trying to heal and rez , assaults and scout trying to flank its just awesome lol |

Frost Kitty uses proto gallente scout and assault, when he runs assault he uses duvelle, your kind of misleading people. There is a better way, its called letting the enemy have certain objectives and carry on kiiling them instead of hacking everything, not rocket science.

I was talking to Frosty the other day about running in full proto squads, basically saying do what you want, but smaller non-proto squads can be really fun. Glad to see at least some people starting to realize this.
