I have my minnie scout alt who I love and nicknamed him "The Blue Guy with Knives" I need some suggestions on how to move forward with him however. He has most of his sp heavily invested into the sniper this was before I decided to be a Blue Guy with Knives.
Currently Im working on adv his suit but atm my fit is poor and look like this
Basic Minnie Scout High Slot : 1 Miltia Precision enhancer Low Slot : 2 Militia damps Lighter arm : adv/basic combat rifle (depending on my isk count) Sidearm : adv nova knives Grenades: Basic Locus nades
I tend to run on the outskirts of battle and infiltrate complexes and such or surprise attack groups/solo mercs especially if there is a heated battle taking their attention away I strike and try to kill as many off as possible.
Minnie Scout suit is only lvl 2
My Dropsuit Core Upgrades is as follows:
2 Armor Upgrade 3 Shield Upgrade 2 Dropsuit Core Upgrade 2 Dropsuit Electronics 2 Profile Damps 2 Range Amplification 1 nanocircutry 1 active scanner
So what skills do I need to prioritize to compliment my play style?

I would probably go with getting your minja scout op up to level 4. With the current build it will get you both a profile reduction and an increase to your knife damage.

You need REs. I'm still fairly new to scouts too but, most all of my kills are coming from REs. I used to think most people wouldn't fall for them. I often have run into an objective and immediately back pedaled when I saw the REs, but we're humans and greedy. Before I could warn any of my fellow blues who came running up to it right after me, boom. It's worked much the same for me. I've gotten 2 at a time most times.
Also, it works great as a baiter. I've run into areas against those I know I can't win. Drag them around a corner, lay one down, boom. Also, the more you run with them, the more you'll see infinite uses for them. They're invaluable at what they do and you get pretty creative with them.
I'll often find a left behind LAV, stick 3 on there and wait for the reds to mount up again. :D
I wish I got more kills with my knives but when I do get them, its glorious.

Try a MLT shotgun, knives or SMG for range and REs for use in complexes. Knives and shotguns are kind of redundant and both can make your enemies back pedal. |
