So let me describe the situation that make me write that post.
I am dropship pilot and my squad comander is a gunner(with missiles). One of the tower have an enemy sniper. We fly over it and my gunner kill him. I put the scanner on and one the radar I see 3 droplinks. I tell to the gunner kill the droplinks, he told me I dont see droplinks around. He didnt see droplinks on the radar or on the top of the tower.
So my question is how I can see the scanner results, and more than 15 seconds he not, even not scanner results on the radar. Is it Bug or not? |

Did you land and use personal scanner or did you use the Dropship scanner?
If you are an hacker, a cheater o a glitcher, you deserve death. In real life.

He must have had to use the drop ship scanner as none can use their personal equipment while in any vehicle.
However this last week, since SP reset, I have noticed several oddities about scanning and the results. When in a tank looking in first person (through the tank site as it were) one can look in the direction of a known turret. The turret will not be there nor will there be any red indicators. However, the turret is there and a few seconds later the icon will show as will the turret itself. If you are lucky, the turret will not be firing at you. Otherwise, it will and you will be lucky to survive.
If the gunner was looking with the L1 button, that might change whether the scanner results will be visible. I don't run small turrets as yet so there is nothing I can do to help test the problem or a work around; I only have enough SP for large turrets.
The other thing that I just recalled was the tendency for reds/blues/icons/turrets and almost anything else not to be drawn if the target is sufficiently off the plane of the viewer. For example: DAE bridge map*. There are several spots North of E that the items on the ground are not visible even though the distance is merely 220m. I will recheck it the next chance I get but you might try raising or lowering your altitude and see if the gunner has his vision improve.
* A is on short bridge with E to the North and Delta to the South. B and C are in the industrial complex between the two ground spawns.
And so it goes.
