... more "assaulty" than my Proto Amarr Assault. Nearly identical slot layouts except that the logistics gets two more equipment slots, allowing me to create diverse fits ranging from pure assault, to pure WP farmer.
Since I can no longer take advantage of my heat reduction bonus when using the logistics, i've fitted an advanced combat rifle instead. The burst fire closely resembles the semi auto fire of the scrambler rifle, making the transition easier.
My advanced logistics suit has nearly the same amount of HP as well as double the armor repair. The combat rifle makes taking on multiple opponents effortless because I do not have to worry about overheating. The quick reload speed makes equipping a sidearm feel unnecessary. More room for HP and Regen.
I think I'm going to have fun in this suit. 
The PC and SL should fit into the Sidearm slot so it's accessible and practical to carry one.

It can't be as slow as the Amarr Logi though. It feels like I'm running through quicksand with that suit.

At STD level the Amarr Logi is equal to the Amarr Assault.
At ADV level the Amarr Logi is better than the Amarr Assault. Logi A/1 Series is a good suit. Really good.
At PRO Level, they are equal again.
This is just how I see it. I have both to PRO. My main suit is the Logi A/1 Series, because it is cheaper than my Proto suits but is just about as good. If I want to mess stuff up with an ScR, I'll run my PRO Assault, but that's about the only reason I'll ever run it...

It was supposed to be like that though. It's the combat logi. And the Amarr assault was a weapons specialist.
So if you wanted a fighting Amarr medium frame, but didn't want to use a laser weapon, voila! Logi!

The Amarr Logi is really just an assault suit with goodies.
The Amarr Assault suit is a Laser God.

It's just a weird quirk of the game that the Amarr logi is godly at advanced level. Doesn't really tell you anything about assault versus logi in general - as Fizzer94 says, Amarr assault and logi are pretty equal at basic and proto. |

Actually it depends on my fitting. My proto assault with complex plates is slower than my logi with one complex and one basic.
The PC and SL should fit into the Sidearm slot so it's accessible and practical to carry one.
