As we all know, half the time in ambush/game types you sit there join and only see black as you hear yourself die endlessly due to the spawn of 5 proto tanks as they sit on your spawn for ever to gain kills. That or 5 proto heavies endlessly firing with Nanohives. This'll fix that, first of all.
- SPAWN PROTECTION - make it so that around the spawn for either side this is simple. You have a "barrier" of some sorts like a shield that extends 10 - 30 m around the original spawn location. You can't fire out or in! This'll help avoid that annoying as **** spawn trapping that happens 100 out of 105 games. That or give a 5 second period in which you take no damage/or till you shoot. Something along these lines, nothing makes new players quit more than being spawn trapped every single game after the academy and giving you no chance in ******* hell to stop it because the entire enemy team have 6m+ SP, and nothing but Proto Gear. Ya Militia AR against a Proto Tank and Heavy? You get what I mean.
The next idea - limit HAV/LAV/ and Dropships. To around 3 per team for each cat, something like that. Dropships/LAV aren't bad but when you have 5 Proto Tanks and have no one with full out AV gear, your ******. GG nothing will help. Especially with Armor Hardener. You will not take them down. This is a bit much as most new players, ya. You get the idea and a M-swarm Launcher hell a Proto Swarm Launcher can do very little to help when you have 5 bending you over for an hour.
The next idea, the MP. Have it so it balances you out with players near the same skill. Only got 600k SP? Pit em against people with 500k - 1m. Something like this to make it more fair. No one wants to be a player with M-gear fighting nothing but Proto, its highly disadvantageous. This is only for PUB/Solo player, Squads can be based on the leader/ or combined SP. Something like that. This way it'll let new players have a chance to grow, and not just get stomped by an entire proto team camping your spawn/points with nothing but rail rifles and scrambler rifles with the support of 5 proto tanks, and a - A Drop Ship. |
