Not questioning moderation, just curious.
When a topic gets locked, it says 'Topic locked indefinitely'.
I have never seen a different header on a locked topic.
Is there such a thing?
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

They can lock it for a certain amount of time I believe.

From what I tested in my corp forums, yes it does.
They usually just keep it "locked indefinitely", but it's not really indefinite as you can still unlock it later :/
You have the option to lock the topic from 1hr and beyond, and a topic that isn't locked "indefinitely" will display a header like this:

Topic is locked until 2/8/2014 6:27:03 AM.

Topics usually do get locked indefinitely for a specific reason, but in some cases we do decide to lock it for a few hours to clear things up (flaming, trolling, off topic etc.) and then thread will be auto-unlocked again with "Topic is locked until x" message, as Atiim already said. :)
