Why is there such a huge f-ing gap between proto and advanced? There isn't the much of a gap between basic and advanced...
If CCP won't do anything to fix the protostomping at least have a logical tech progression.
Not:
MLT (crap) - STD (less crap) - ADV (normal) - PRO (F***ing GOD) |

Because for weapons the different between ADV and PRO is the same as between STD and ADV... 5%.

Seriously though, tangoed with a proto logi suit and he still had over 1k hp when I died...I'm fervently tying to get over 750 on my adv... |

As an Amarr Logi, I have no idea what you are talking about. My ADV suit is almost as good as my PRO one.

For Amarr Logi you only get 1 extra low slot from proto...
Same with heavy only one extra slot...

Edit: Ran some basic #'s on my cal assault between adv and proto adv got about 900 ehp tanked out proto got about 1140. that's 4.3 move speed. Gonna do gal assault and gal logi for you as well <3 Gal logi adv tank suit: 927 EHP Gal logi proto: 1300...that's @ 3.65 move speed btw. lol If you want more let me know. Overall: Yeah if you want to tank advanced suits you most def can.

He probably has PG/CPU upgrades maxed as well though, because there shouldn't be a big gap.

Yeah I have 38 mill sp. So all cores and anything available is maxed out.
I usually run a proto suit with 2x damage mods and about 700 ehp with proto equips cause i'm a gal logi. :)
