They wanted points for scans, said this would cause the players to grab them since WPs are involved. The merc should want to have a scanner for assisting his team, not for WPs. The changes come and people cry about folks scanning.
The AR, a weapon that I loved and thought was just fine. Yet folks wanted a nerf on the AR because they got tired of being killed by them. But let's just forget that weapons at the time were limited. Now folks advocate for the buff.
The RR is next on the chopping block and is getting a damage nerf. Why? Because the crybabies are tired of being dropped by it and every pub player copies every other pub player. Nevermind the CR is beast mode.
This is nerve wracking. These changes come on the heels of players who cry for nerfs and they don't know what the heck they are talking about.
So what kind of end game are we going to have? Does it just take a bandwagon of ignorant players to get a nerf axe swinging your way? What gives?
A game with longer TTK. All the weapons are getting nerfed.
Dren and Templar equipment stats, wrong since release.

So what kind of end game are we going to have? Does it just take a bandwagon of ignorant players to get a nerf axe swinging your way? What gives? A game with longer TTK. All the weapons are getting nerfed. My friend, RR is getting a damage buff and then he says the others are following. Meaning, they KNOW and have a plan on RR based on what they read on forums The other weapons getting nerfed part is to just quiet the folks like me who will be upset. The joke of the matter? They don't even know how they are buffing the other weapons but they know what to buff with the RR? Read between the lines my friend. They were influenced by a short sighted community who just plays ambush pubs.
They're not buffing the RR, they're nerfing it. Most of weapons damage will be nerfed (that is lower, not higher). Damage mods? Also getting nerfed. Proficiency skills? "Maybe" getting nerfed. It's all part of a plan to make TTK loooooonger.
What will longer TTK mean for you? As as skilled player, it will be advantageous. If you can aim/strafe/coordinate better than a newer or less skilled players than you will be getting kills. Odds are, the differences will be relatively small, measured in seconds. However, a longer TTK makes this more as opposed to less different than console games. The quintessential console games like CoD are known very short TTK, where pretty much anything kills you very quick. The longer TTK will ideally bring strategy such as brick tanking vs. utility related modules into stark relief.
It gets more complicated though, since they're also looking at changing the bonuses to Assaults and Logis. So, if you play an assault, you might suddenly have bonuses that are more combat-oriented. The RR change is the least of your problems/concerns, and a small part of much larger set of changes.
