CCP, we don't need a dev blog for this one. Just tell us one way or another: are we getting a respec? If so, is it complete or only specific skill trees?
Players are going to be upset either way, but you know what will upset BOTH groups? Not saying a damn thing.

i imagine theyre battling it out with plastic lightsabers in the office over it right now.
thus they don't want to say anything yet. but the vast majority of players want a respec, as 1.8 is changing like everything about infantry.

Guys, I was in the IRC Chat yesterday with Saberwing and he said that they haven't even begun discussion on a respec yet, so honestly not even CCP knows what they are going to do. They still got a month of prep time to make up there mind (though I agree it'd be nice if they made it up faster)

That's... really disappointing actually. CCP Logibro said something about it still being discussed internally a long time ago. I can't find the post for some reason.
So the impression that I get is we will know about if we are getting a respec just before CCP plans on giving one. It's their game, they get to manage it how they want, but this is a real head scratcher.

CCP will announce it when they are going to give you one. They won't announce it earlier just because some people spam the forums.
