...can hit me from the other side of the map without no problem. Too far away to be Forgegunned into oblivion, I order a tank myself, which gets sometimes popped upon deployment, cuz the ******* Transport takes sooo long, even behind cover and in a "safe" location (what is a safe distance vs. Railtanks? lol, cuz they hit u from virtually everywhere).
I can handle the Blaster tanks quite well with my Forge or Blaster tank myself. No prob with that. The real problem is the Railranks shooting from behind the redline. They are ****** up.
Poppin' vehicles upon deployment is messed up too. Not because I lose some ISK, I got enuff money to blow. It's just annoying and humiliating to be almost defenseless against Redline Rail tanks.
Possible Solutions to redline tanking/sniping: Change the way the redline works. Either we can shoot and run into and out of the enemy redline without limitations-just remove the redline at all. Or we neither can't shoot out of the redline, neither into it.
The current situation sucks and benefits coward scrubs sniping from a location they can hardly be hit.
Possible solutions to slow deployment: I don't know if Titanfall on XB1 is gonna be any good. What i like about it though is the way the Titans (Combatmechs) deploy: They drop from the sky , similar to Resupply depots or Turret installations in Dust. Quite fast. Once they have deployed, they have a kind of forcefield around them for a SHORT amount of time, just enough to prevent the enemy from destroying the Mech before being actually mounted.
I hope CCP looks into other games to find solutions to the problems found in DUST.
