I bet everyone is getting tired of "blargh! I hate CCP!! I quit!" so I'm not going to do that.
The truth is I haven't really been playing Dust because I now own Pokemon X! Yep, got my own Fennekin and Pikachu and I'm now busy exploring for some cool clothes (and some more pokemon... I guess, but mostly the clothes).
But I did want to leave a message to CCP. I wanted to say I'm sorry for complaining so much and thank you for all of your hard work. Dust is still far from complete, but it's so much better than it started, and (for me) one of the funnest games I have ever played. Before Dust I hated shooters. I would get invited to LAN parties and spend most of the time just watching because the gameplay was never my cup of tea (that, and I sucked).
Then I tried Dust (mostly because of the pshome space). Suddenly, I wasn't just some random-smelly-brawny-man-thing in a brown world. I was a unique soldier, one that I had created and built from the ground up, with a history that I could create, in a world that offered so much freedom and lore (granted, we haven't quite reached that point in the current build but I'm confident it will get there).
So I just wanted to say Thank You CCP for giving me an experience like no other (and really, after this I finally tried Call of Duty and Battlefield, and Dust was still better), and I am looking very much forward to 1.8. Thanks again and I hope you had a great New Years.
Also, for any posts that say "but CCP hasn't done this or that etc etc or I'm an idiot" this is my opinion and no matter what, Dust has a special place in my heart.

roflol. no, I'm not leaving forever. to be honest, I didn't think I would see a "can I haz ISK" message here, but it just goes to show you can never avoid it for too long. ^_^
