Nova Knives and swarm launchers have absolutely ridiculous progressions for damage. Proto nova knives do over 100% more damage than basic, and proto swarms do 50% more damage than basic. This is insane.
Basic scrambler rifles require way too much PG, constituting around 30% of a standard suit's PG. I believe this to be a data-entry mistake, as the adv version of the rest of the rifles (barring the combat rifle) cost double what the standard version does. It appears as though the base should cost 8 PG.
Dren (scrambler pistol and swarm launcher), Templar (scrambler pistol), and Recruit (SMG) BPOs still have the wrong stats (this is coming up on one year).
Laser Rifle only increases in feed-back damage, fitting requirements, and barely any heat progression as the tiers advance, making anything but the standard rifle redundant.
While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either.

Plasma Cannon: a lot of things wrong with it.
Flaylock: pretty useless unless you proto and have prof 3.
Shotgun: mostly hit detection and perhaps range.
AR: outclassed by other Rifles in its intended role.
Sniper rifles: weak headshot multiplier.
Laser Rifle: loltiers. Lolrange. Loloptimals.
That's all I can think of with the things wrong in weapons. Yes, I skipped the RR and CR on purpose because they're OP and MIGHT get nerfed a bit next build. Maybe. Probably not. |

Anything else you want to complain about? The swarm launcher progression damage, seriously? No, seriously, that's a weapon issue? And nova knives? And the scram rifle? The only valid point you have is that the laser rifle is crappy after standard, unless you were saying that the swarm launcher needs more damage, in that case you have 2 valid points. On the other post. The plasma cannon needs a complete reworking, as it has never worked as intended, unless it was intended to be useless. The deadlock could use a slight buff, but you have to be carefully with that one. The AR is still useful, you have to be smart about it, and the sniper rifle could use hit detection, and a slight headshot bonus increase.

Almost all of the rest of the weapons in this game use a 5% or so buff between tiers. When you have this ridiculous 50% - 100% buff between tiers, you make it so the weapon either completely sucks at standard level (swamrs and nova knives now) or you make it so that the standard level is fine but the proto is ridiculous.
What I am saying is that the basic and advanced level nova knives and swarm launchers need a decent sized buff, something like :
nova knives:
180 dmg (std) -> 190 dmg (adv) -> 200 dmg (proto)
instead of
90 dmg (std) -> 150 dmg (adv) -> 200 dmg (proto)
Swarm launchers should have the same amount of missiles for all tiers, then just modify damage per missile:
300 (std) -> 315(adv) -> 330 (proto)
meaning the damage per volley would be:
1200 (std) -> 1260 (adv) -> 1320 (proto)
Instead of right now it is
880 (std) -> 1100 (adv) -> 1320 (proto)
See now there is actually a reason to use the non-proto versions of these weapons, but proto still gives you a decent buff.
Also, decrease the std scrambler rifle PG requirement to 8 PG rather than 11 (11 PG being more than a good few weapons are at proto)
While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either.
