Please Devs, release some official 'work in progress' post about Assault and Logistics skills and dropsuits in 1.8 as you did with Commando, Sentinel and Scout roles so we can give our feedback soon. |

Waiting with baited breath, but so far the prognosis does not look good.
Also, the weapon/damage mod changes would be appreciated as well?
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

+1 How about all those missing assault weapon variants too.
But I'm not going to get my hopes up. I know the dropsuits stats and especially the dam mods stats will be held till damn near release. It's simple they know a s*** storm will happen. Personally I hope they nerf the dam mods so bad they have to be removed.
Oh as an after thought all this would attract attention away from all the shiny new suits. Can't be having that now can we. Now be a good mule and follow the carrot.
And of course HAVE A NICE DAY!!!

I'm specially worried because i didn't like the light weapon RoF assault bonus i saw somewhere which is insane. Might be gamebreaking or not go adequately in terms of balance with all weapons.
If i skilled up to lvl 5 in more than 1 racial assault suit, I would have an insane RoF with a breach AR, for example, or a Shotgun plus its proficiency skill, or the CR with its already high RoF, all sniper rifles would be 'tactical'... would be so OP.
For the generic assault class bonus i'd prefer a more passive but effective and helpful bonus instead like: stamina, PG/CPU usage of weapons or tanking modules, HP or regen buff, higher ammo resupply rate in nanohives....
Even the reload speed sounds good for the assault suit, but that's already the Commando bonus.

I've been asking for a Dev to comment on this since the rumor thread was posted back in December. Obviously they don't want to clue us in on anything to do with it at this point. Which I find kind of hilarious that they don't even want to shut the rumor mill down.
I'd like at least ONE comment from a Dev on the topic of Assault and Logistic suits in 1.8. If you don't want to give us exact info, fine, but at least tell us if you're changing them or not.
I'm currently sitting on 3m unallocated SP incase we don't get a respec in 1.8 with all these changes. Honestly I'd love to use my SP but if you're going to nerf my Logistic suit to oblivion I'd rather use it to spec into a different suit if no respec is given. That extra 3m SP would make the game much more enjoyable for me but instead I'm sitting here waiting... and waiting... and waiting. This whole withholding information and not stomping out rumor mills is absolutely ridiculous. |

The racial bonuses don't apply across races. So if you were to be level 5 in Amarr Assault and level 5 in Minmatar Assault you wouldn't be getting the RoF bonus from both.
Ex: Logistic suits get +5 armor repair per second with level 5 Logistics. If I was skilled level 5 into two Logistic suits I wouldn't get +10 armor repair per second it would still be +5 armor repair per second. |

This, and give us the stats for the basic light/medium/heavy suits as well. We are getting changes to the specialist role suits, so it makes sense to get some changes to the basic suits as well, possibly to make them a viable and customizable(with modules) choice, they dont get role bonus, but they could get a racial bonus, and they should have more modules to play with than the specialized suits. |

Ok, that's what i always wanted to know. As there are racial and class bonus i thought the latter would affect other suits of the same class as well. Thanks for the clarification. |

If the rumours are true, my trusty logi mk.0 will get everything good about it taken away in place of a ****** repair tool bonus, and I'll be joining you in the biomass queue. Unless they do a skill refund, that is. |
