You'll notice that I've not been here in freakin' ages. Last I heard, ARs were OP, shields were way too powerful, and tanks were tearing up everyone and everything as long as they had the right fit and the right person to pilot them. They were also going up to two-three mil when they blew up. Poof.
So, yeah. This is basically my scientific curiosity. What's the most powerful and why? If there are multiple answers, then why the disagreement? Are we in the middle of a metagame shift? What's the most powerful corp, and etc. etc.
The primary three questions I'd like answered are 1.) Most powerful infy fit? 2.) Most powerful tank fit? 3.) Have Dropships been delivered from evil? Are they finally in the promised land?
Pompeius Maximus.
Decent tank pilot. Has decent mastery of railgun.

Callogi and RR, duh.
Gunnlogi with triple 30% damage mods, armor plate and hardener.
Kind of...they're not super expensive, but Assault Dropships are 500k at minimum and are 2 shotted by militia rails when fully fitted.
Under 28db
Officially nerfproof (predicting CR nerf February '14)
Selling SP: 10k SP per 100k ISK.

Heavy suits with RR's with stacked complex damage mods and don't forget the active scanner.. If you can squeeze yourself into a tank as well, even better.
Oh, and everything proto, of course.
When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

WEAPONS:I dont think there is a FOTM.I see CR,RR and SCR rifles equally in the battlefield. And in CQ maps I get owned by Duvolles. SUITS:The Logi suits keep dominating thanks to their broken +5HP rep per sec and insane tanking capabilities. My own 700 ADVANCED Amarr Logi with 2 cx dam mods and Assault RR is proof of it. (which i dont use a lot thou...) TANKS: vs infantry, all tanks are FOTM. Vs other vehicles, i would say damage mod or hardener stacked Shield tanks.

Now have 4 totally broken FOTM builds.
1. Heavy with proto RR - The only thing with a longer range is the SR, the only thing with slightly better CQC ability is the CR because lolAR, Mass drivers are **** again.
2. Logi brick tanked with damage mods stacked (I still despise the fact that Logi suits can even use damage mods, let alone stack them, and I'm a logi. Leave that **** to the assaults.) and either a RR, CR, or SCR (IMO the CR and SCR are fairly balanced (The CR needs a reduction to its effectiveness against armor. Currently al weapons are on a 200% scale. Ex. AR does 110% to shields, 90% to armor. SCR does 120% to shields, 80% to armor. CR being Minmatar is supposed to do almost equal to both, but it currently does 95% to shields like its supposed to, but a whopping 115% to armor. Thats a 210% scale. 10% higher than everything else. it should be 95% to shields, 105% to armor))
3. Tanks: I'm all for having tanks on the field, they change the dynamic of play and should force players to rethink their approach. They should also require some level of team work for infantry to overcome.
What we have right now due to the lackluster performance of the AV weaponry is its now requiring 4-5 infantry to take out a single MLT tank that costs less than some of my ADV suits, and any of my proto suits. Sure you can still pop them quite quickly if they are an inexperienced tanker, but it doesn't take that long to get used to tanking since they are so cheap and you can simply spawn another one and go again for another 15 kills. Gunlogi and Maddys SHOULD require 4-5 infantry to tackle (Currently, since they took away the adv/proto tanks, and the glass cannon tanks)
4. Scanners - Before we had scanners, we had team view. There was no real point to stealth/speed tank because if one person had LOS on you, you could be seen by everyone. Now we have scanners that you can do a full 360 scan (I'm guilty of this as well, because with everyone able to see you, there are some things that you just have to do) with in 2 sec, wait 16 sec for the mini map dots to disappear, repeat every 20-30 sec. Its scanner assisted team view. The element of surprise is basically gone unless you are running a dampened scout (You guys still scare the **** out of me)
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?
THAT SENTENCE HAD TOO MANY SYLLABLES! APOLOGIZE!

Dropships are better than they've ever been since I've been flying them. Even with ridiculous rails, I can stand a chance with proper fits and good flying (and it's really only the redline that's the problem, I could survive a tank once and kill it easily without that barrier). They're actually being used to great effect in PCs, for that matter (speaking of which, I'm for hire, only pay is biomass and lost ship reimbursement).
I actually stand a chance against AV, but it's balanced so I can't just stand and take it.
Overall, I'm very pleased with dropships.

Unfortunately Logis are still FOTM. Presently I would say the Gallogi with CR, armor plate, damage mods, and proto CR. Or Callogi duel tanked, damaged mods, and proto rail rifle. (honestly the assaults need their buff so those of us who fit a logi as a logi quit getting S**T in the forums)
For tanks MLT seem to be FOTM because they run as little as 75k but people who sink SP into tanks know that its blaster madrugas for infi killing and Rail Gunnlogi for anti tanks fits
AV has been relegated to the Forge Guns as Swarm Launchers got UP in the last update. Although because Remote explosives are now sticky tossing six of them on a BPO LAV and running them into tanks works well too.
For Equipment Active scanners are king
Oh and Heavies can now kill things with HMGs so be careful in CQC because two Boundless HMG wielders can hold down objectives indefinitely with a logi using a proto repair tool
EDIT: I know I missed something what is it?
When you turn a corner and find the entire enemy team.Oh Heck
