so this would greatly help the game Have it connect to TQ, but run the same as it does for ps3 So the optition is there to play it on ps4 if ps4 users want to play dust, but don't want to get a ps3

Not entirely sure how the 'Now' works,,, but if it can be done without latency then that'd be awesome....
Thing to consider, however..... is the other free-to-play MMO on the ps3 thats been going for years (DC Universe).... they've done a PS4 version that rolls on the same servers as the PS3 players..... so while the system architecture is different,,, precedent has already been set for the two consoles to run the same game together
I'd imagine the small playerbase on PS4 is whats made this not top priority..... Interesting how none of the next-gen games are hitting top10 charts yet,,,, there's simply not enough consoles out there yet to make it worthwhile,,, and likely wont be for another couple of years....
As things stand,,,, the money's on the PS3 baby (particularly important with 'f2p' games,,, DCUO only did it because its published by Sony themselves),,,, once that starts to shift onto next gen then if they're serious about the long term future of dust then a PS4 version's virtually inevitable |

If this happened I would throw my ps3 in a lake (sell it on craigslist)

Even if that happens my PS3 is going nowhere. Better games available for it than for the PS4 and better games announced for it so far.

It wouldn't. It would make it less inconvenient to play for people who have to switch some cables every time they switch consoles. But besides that you're overestimating the amount of people playing on PS4 by far.

It's a plausible solution, but it's not something CCP will be able to do by merely flipping a switch.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

There are better games released on the PS4 than Dust 514.
I think Dust should just get all the suits released first (check), all the racial weapons (getting there), a few more maps and better design (not checked), racial vehicles (art has done done progress), and bug fixes and balancing (don't even know if it's possible with CCP).
Once all these things are checked, only then can we move on to the PS4 and improve the graphics, server, and possibly keep adding content. |

Dust is better than all the F2P games on PS4 at the moment
