I have a question, if posting while hiding your corp can define your character as an alt, then why have the option to hide corp/alliance?
If posting in some forums while having your corp hidden is not allowed, then may you please have an option to "show/hide corp/alliance" per post?
Think about it, if you hide your corp, you are not allowed to post in certain areas on the website. According to this anyways...
I have no problem showing my corp/alliance but some rather not (that is why the option exists right?).
Thoughts?
Suggestions?
Insults?
Note: I am not an alt, CCP can check that if they wish.

Why hide your corp at all? I can search you out in the game and see your corp |

Sometimes when I post an opinion, trolls break that down and try to drag corporation/alliance nonsense into the discussion to derail the thread or start a fight. IN a nutshell.
If you want a more creative reason... as a spy? Meta-game? True some people know that you can just look this up elsewhere, but not everyone knows that :)
With that said, couple more questions:
Regarding rule #23 "Some channels such as Corporations Alliances and Organization Discussions do not allow users to post with alternate characters. CCP defines alternate characters as character that do not display the corporation they belong to, who are members of NPC corporations, or who are members of small corporations specifically created for forum posting purposes. Posts by characters filling these criteria will be removed"
Questions:
1. Where are these channels Coporations Alliances and Oragnization Discussions. I don't see these specific channels on the forum list?
2. What if I wanted to hide my corp/alliance tags because I was a spy, CCP doesn't want me posting in the war room or meta-gaming? I thought that was a big part of this whole "Welcome to New Eden" stuff.
3. What if I am in an NPC corp and I want to get involved with PC, a lot of PC discussion happens in the war room for example, where apparently alt posting is not allowed. So by this rule I am not allowed to post here to ask questions or maybe setup a time to fight or be a ringer?
4. How can CCP determine what corporations were created for "forum posting purposes" only?
5. What if I wanted to post about a "vendetta" I have towards another player, but because I am in an NPC corp I am not allowed?
My Feedback: Clarify and/or amend the above rule, specifically in the spirit of what the war room is designed for.

Many people disregard everything you say if you are in a NPC corp or a corp they don't like. You could just be saying hi and someone will star flaming every post you write. As for NPC corp posters, they look like inexperienced scrubs who have no opinion because they aren't in a corp, so some people ignore everything they say or degrade it.
If you post something very good that is an awesome idea, people will degrade it because of your corp or because you are not in one.
Also, many people post stuff replying to someone because of their corp which leads to a lot of threads going off topic.
Example: Person A posts something about changes in blank. Person B replays being saying crap like your corp sucks, they blank blank blank etc. Person A responds and other people start getting involve and before you know it, off topic completely.
