What Derpship are you referring to, what type/level of weapon are you using and what level of skills do you have that is affecting this?
Ill have a look on my alts too and check it out.....

The damage profile might actually be working correctly.
Its just that the fitting screen does not apply the increased damage to show what bonuses you're getting. This also applies for: Core Grid Management +5% to rate of all active moduals per level. Energy Core Calibration +5% to active duration of all active moduals per level. The fitting screen does not take into account for the active or cooldown durations, so you really can't tell how long the active and cooldown modules are getting reduced or buffed.

If that's the only reason then cool I just wish ccp would hot fix this to show the numerical change so I know my little sp is actually working I e the skills for pg and CPU for weapons not working. |

The skills for CPU and PG are working as intended, but it applies the reductions to the items in question via their stats and in the market; so you wouldn't notice that the reduction are working as intended until you do the math.
They should make it so the reductions apply when you fit it to your suit instead of before....

Idk about that did my math no change and even ccp eddy said it wasn't working. I'm just not going to skill anything drop ship until we get official answers in a yr or two lol |

I'm sure you just meant the ADS skill, not the racial skill.
The racial skill works fine, to my knowledge. At least I notice a huge difference.

I found that the damage can be increased in battles correctly after learning skills. Did you mean the number doesnGÇÖt change after learning the skill? I have confirmed that with the Dev team, it is by design.

Yea, I find it hard that by design you would do such a thing. I would have thought that you just didn't get enough time to include the data of what skills are doing to aid you.
I would hope you eventually fix this and have it so that the fitting screen shows all additional stats for how things REALLY are after skills are taken into account. |

It's strange that pg/cpu related skills show up when you're in the vehicle fitting screen (hence the ability to fit better stuff)... but that the other stats dont update....
The fact that these things dont update in the fitting screen make it very difficult to be sure that certain skill improvements are having the desired effect,,,,, a lot of things you have to go on blind faith and assume it's helping....
Examples being the increased damage from assault dropships (although this seems to work),,,,,, and how about the small missile turret skills,,, are these applying to the ADS as well?? Personally i've given up with most vehicle related skills (apart from ads and caldari ads),,, as the whole thing seems a bit shady to me right now
Also i think with the high cost of some skills,,, better descriptions would be handy (especially for blueberries..... for example the 'caldari assault dropship' skill says it increases stats for caldari assault dropships only...... so look at the information of the Python,,,, it doesnt mention anywhere that it's caldari--- its more blind faith than i'd like when committing large number of points to things) |

Well as far as I can tell and ccp eddy confirmed the small turret /small missile launcher optimization doesn't work idk about shields and armor all I know is my pythons hurting lol |
