These are three of the Minmatar manufacturers, and you can see how the ships look with those color schemes. Coloring suits and other assets in this manner would go a long way toward making the game feel more like a part of the New Eden universe and just feel more immersive overall.

I think it should mainly be reserved for prototype tier, everything just being black at prototype is pretty boring; more colors are always welcomed. I would be fine with it at lower tiers as well, but prototype tier is where I feel it is mainly needed.

I would say that it should only be the case for Specialist suits, as you'll notice in EVE that the T1 hulls all just follow National colors.
Ideally we could have this change after tiericide so tiers wouldn't be a factor in suit color.

Definitely, they should have the tech for custom coloring, if you look how different the suits already look, only if they really did it based on the manufacturer and not tier. But I would want this only for the proto (marked, manufacturer named) gear.
Minmatar Logistics since the beginning.
Mass Driver my first and the only fully specialized weapon.

this also means we khannid dropsuits for amarr and more missile weapons for amarr and caldari so caldari can stop monopolizing rails since there just as much gallente weapons as caldari.
id love to have a dark red/dark bluegreen and chrome gallente medium frame with red lights like a lachesis skin.
or black/blue khannid.
those should have been the suit designs from the get go really.
