Its blasphemy is its own right...but what do you expect from me? I can only preserve do much of the Empire's holy relics and history.....
However for the most part it means little to me. The 1st Generation Templars were renegades and traitors in of themselves, it is not surprising scum like you got your hands on one of those suits..... without being purified that suit is nothing more than a hunk of composite armour and electronics.
Purified as my own armour was its becomes a symbol of what the Empire represents.
Either way it wont stop me from slaying you again when next we meet. As we saw not two days ago Faith bests all.

Complete speculation with no evidence or word from CCP to back it up. In fact, this is the first time I heard this rumor. In 1.8 I will still have my beautiful red Templar SCR and "shweh shweh shweh" everyone in my path without risk of loss

I am a Templar....why would I be jealous of my own armour purified and issued to me by a member of the most repected Imperial loyalist capsuleer alliance in New Eden?
The armour of a Templar is a symbol of the divine cause of the Empire. To see it used by a foe only tells me they to recognise the might and power of our Empire and so to wish to use its power for their own gain.

I hate the Empire, but I have never had anything against its technology or its aesthetics; in fact these are the only things I like about Amarr culture, so using Amarr gear does not mean I am sacrificing my ideals or causes, especially since I can now use these items as yet another means to an end in the struggle for liberation.
The fact that I prefer Amarr tech in no way proves the superiority of the Amarr, only that it is my personal preference.

Don't pretend that means anything beyond strategy.
