after i was doing some recruitment mail after a few battles. the wheels in my head started turning. got me to thinking.... why would i spend sooooo much time sending recruitment mail? Why does ccp not just put in a corporation recruitment mail that only the ceo and or directors could use? the CEO could type one mail including the details of your corp, tax rate, what you are looking to do in the universe, and how you are wanting to accomplish your goals? the CEO could put that mail in the corporation board and the directors could send the mail to anybody they please, but only once. It could save so much time and it will be more helpful when somebody outside of your corp wants to be in one. I would like to see what the community and CCP thinks about this topic.

Or you could use the corp recruitment forum instead of spamming everyone. |

Something along the lines of Corporation standard. Like corp fits, corp mail, corp lounge, etc.
Under 28db
Officially nerfproof (predicting CR nerf February '14)
Selling SP: 10k SP per 100k ISK.

Problem is only a small % frequently visit the forums. Most wont bother. Other new players wont even know about the forums.
No we have to think of this purely from an in game point of view as that's where the members are. Also recruiting new players can be the difference between them staying or leaving - so some sort of in game recruitment page would be great. |

or they could make a corp board ingame, allowing corps to post up availability of spots and requirements of filly the spot.

IIRC (I haven't left a corp in years), in EVE you automatically join the corp recruitment channel when you get into an NPC corp (including at character creation). I'd be ok with this.
Until then, I recommend inviting new players to your squad, playing with them, and then asking if they'd like to join your corp. |

he ain't sending mails to established players in established corps so no worries to y'all who replied.... only npc corps are targeted...
but i liked the in-game recruitment board idea... if it's a part of Eve, make it a part of Dust... |

Just have your officers run recruitment squads in the squad finder. you don't have to stack squads 24/7. I have been running pub squads lately. Its kind of fun meeting new people. There is a lot of misconceptions and rumors that veterans can dispel. I train any one who will learn and Team up with any vet who wants to do so to.

I think there should be a Corporation Recruitment chat channel, or a Rookie Help channel (much like in Eve) until the noob gets into a player corp, or learns all that they want/need to.

Hmmm that sounds ok maybe add an additional board (tv) in the merc quarters that cycles thru corps listed in game something like the market screen you see in quarters.
