While PC issues might've generated tons of ISK for people in a buggy way, if you cut all ISK from the game suddenly (which would be the only way to do it, otherwise people would just go on a spending spree first) then it just benefits everyone with tons of stored gear (e.g. - mostly people that are already wealthy, or buy in bulk for whatever reason).
In short, an isk reset is pointless if everyone keeps their items. So you'd have to propose an isk AND item reset. Then everyone with BPOs and/or Aurum is at an advantage?
Dren and Templar equipment stats, wrong since release.

there is absolutely no sense of risk or loss once you reach a few mil isk. i have 57 mil and its only getting higher. i see players losing over a million a fight at times and doesn't deter them at all. whats the point of it just sitting there. as it masses it only stands to screw over everyone in the long run when the player and eve markets come in

Isk really isn't a problem. Even if people run proto everything there's only so much they can bring into a match.
Btw, I've got about 2 mill, I think, in my wallet. (Didn't check my balance after replacing lost fits yesterday.) So I'm not a farmer by any stretch of the imagination.
When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

not if they do an isk item reset then drop player isk to say 10mil each character. its not going to be needed really untill player markets come in. all that stored up isk only stands to ruin the player markets before they start

There does not need to be a ISK total decrease there needs to be a decrease in ISK coming in.

Highly unlikely. The currency is imaginary and so are the items it buys, so value is meaningless.

if value is meaningless then having isk is meaningless. if you want something you buy it imaginary or not. if you have less money then you will place a higher value on that item. if you have unlimited money then you don't place any value on it.

Yes. ISK is meaningless. So is SP.

No. I earned every single bit of ISK in my wallet with hard work.
The problem is that ISK magically appears out of thin air, and there is no viable ISK sink. |
